    The road 9

At the same time in Ethan’s room

As soon as he closed the door behind him, he walked over to the bed and threw Helena forcefully on it. Ethan returned to the door and locked it up, putting the key in his trouser pocket.

While he was locking the door, Helena had stood up from the bed and ran to the farthest corner of the room. She looked out for something that she could take to defend herself. But he had been good prepared and there was nothing around. Her plan to escape seemed now impossible to achieve. If she wanted to get out she first had to retrieve the key. In order to do that, she had to distract him somehow or knock him unconscious. The question was, with what could she do that? As she thought about that, her eyes landed suddenly on his baton, which he always wore securely around his hips.

    ‘This is it’, she thought.

Helena squeezed herself tighter against the wall as she saw Ethan approach her. She’s gonna let him do to her what he wanted until she could free the baton from it’s holster. She tried not to show how terrified she was, but he could easily detect the fear in her eyes.

„Don’t be afraid. If you cooperate, you won’t feel any pain. But if you fight against me, you’re gonna hurt yourself. It would be pointless to resist, because you can’t go anywhere anyway. So, what should it be, baby? The hurtful way or not?“

Helena didn’t answer him verbally, but let her body relax, showing him, she’s not gonna fight him. For now…

Ethan saw and felt her body lose it’s tension and let his index slide from her full lips, over her chin to her smooth neck and down her chest until he came to a halt between her breasts.

„I watched you the other day looking at this woman, who visited you, in that special way and her looking at you the same way back. How you two hold each others hands… You’re gay, aren’t you?“

He starred intently at her and a sneaky smirk appeared on his face as he asked her that. He didn’t wait for an answer, the answer beeing obvious, and continued

    1. Oh I fear that IN THIS CASE, Helena is not doing the right thing. I am so glad she feels able to protect herself, but this is a prison guard she is going to bash..someone with all the rights and all the power. He can either beat her to a pulp or the prison can punish her in all kinds of ways. I am afraid Helena is going to make it worse for herself. I agree also that even if Peggy and Bette get there this minute, the damage to Helena is done.
