It is not because angels are holier than men or devils that makes them angels, but because they do not expect holiness from one another, but from God alone.  ~William Blake

Helena: Tina will be there Bette.

Jill: What do you think you’re doing?!

    Jill hissed.

    Bette: When can we leave?

Bette’s voice was fragile and shaky

Alice: Right now if you want B…

Bette: I want Tina. Can we go now?

    TBC…

Alice: We can’t go right now B, but we can go soon if you want…

Bette looked around at the faces, they showed great concern.

    Shane: I have an idea.

Shane ran out Bette’s door and over to her own home, asking Angie if she wanted to see her momma. Shane held Angie’s hand as she walked back over to Bette’s house. Angie quickly entered.

    Angie: Momma!

Bette didn’t know what was happening but before she knew what was going on her daughter had climbed up on her and cuddled her. Bette looked at the little girl on her lap and slowly wrapped her arms around her.

    Bette: Sweetness…

Bette’s eyes cleared and looked at Angelica with love and concern.

Bette: Are you okay baby girl?

Angie nodded like little girls do and smiled, Bette smiled back. Just because Tina’s been taken away doesn’t mean my life has…Bette though to herself. She looked at her little girl. Bette then looked up at Alice.

Bette: You my friend, are not taking me anywhere.

Bette’s strong voice filled the ears of the women. Alice shook her head and smiled.

Alice: I know you, welcome back.

Bette stood up and held Angelica to her.

Angie: Momma? Where did mommy go?

Bette looked back at Angie and for a minute the girls thought that Bette my crack again but she just smiled softly.

    Bette: Mommy’s in heaven sweety.

    Angie smiled.

Angie: Okay, can I go play now?

Bette put Angie down and she ran to her room to play. Bette stood with her hands on her hips. The girls looked at her.
