Chapter 3

’Before I forget it Bette…do you have plans for tomorrow?’

‘I don’t think so…why?’

‘Because I thought that we could have dinner and after that go out and have some fun’

‘I don’t know Al…I mean dinner sounds good but right now I don’t feel in the mood to go to a club. It’s always the same’

‘Hm…I think I know what you need!’

‘What Al?’ Bette knew there wouldn’t come anything serious.

‘Fresh meat’ Alice said wriggling her eyebrows. Bette shook her head with rolling eyes

‘You my friend are in need for new blood and like heaven heard my prayer…there comes fresh meat that will get your blood boiling!’

Alice looked directly at the entrance which was out of Bettes sight. So Bette turned around and looked along Alice’s view. What she saw left her breathless.

Shane stood near the entrance of the Planet and waited for Tina. She was late…like always. With nearly 10 minutes delay she stopped in front of Shane and locked the chain on her bike.

 ‘You are late’

‘Yeah I know but there was this man who argued with me about a package which was obviously sent by his ex-wife and he didn’t want to give me a signature. Well you know how that is…’

‘Yeah…well lets get in. I am starving.’

They walked in and looked for a free table. A waitress came over and said that there are only seats at the counter available. So they took a seat and ordered. While they were talking Shane noticed a woman at a table looking in their direction.

‘Hey TK…I think we have fans.’

‘What?’

Tina turned around to look in the same direction as Shane and spotted a blonde woman looking at them and talking to a brunette. Unfortunately they weren’t able to see the face of the brunette since she sat with her back to them.

‘What makes you think they are talking about us?’

‘I just know’

‘Maybe…but I guess they are only talking about you.’

‘Hey! Don’t underestimate your beauty and charisma’

‘Thank you Shane’

‘You’re welcome….so…want to go over there and say hi?’

‘No way! Can we just eat? I mean if you want to go over…that’s ok with me…just let me stay out of it, ok?’
