She walked out of the bathroom in search of her destiny……in search of the much needed sex……she rounded the corner, and found no Bette…….hell, I was out on the balcony…..I had returned to my work…..or what I could do, without thinking about the bathroom excursion……when I caught a glimpse of Tina out of the corner of my eye…..she moved towards me and pushed the laptop to the middle of the table….she guided herself up on the table and sat right where my laptop was with each foot on the armrests of my chair…….I had leaned back in my chair, thinking that this was one helluva daydream, and then she spoke to me……I snapped back into reality, and as I did, I got a glimpse of the thong between her legs….and this is where I began to stutter…. “d’oh……..d…….w…wher…where are your clothes? I know I have a closet full, couldn’t you find anything to wear?”

“I didn’t want to wear any more than I have on……..” she said as she leaned towards me and took my face into her hands…….she inched her way closer and closer. Our lips were about to touch…….

“Wait…” I said ……as I put my finger up to her lips…….. “We cant…..”

“That is exactly what I thought. You don’t want me…….”

“It is not like that Tina……”

She leaned herself to the side so that she could get off of the table…….I quickly stood up……and got to her before she could get down…….
She had leaned her head down and was looking at the ground…….I lifted my hand under her chin and pulled her face up so that our eyes locked together…….I looked deep into those dark orbs, and saw years and years of future with this woman……I cant explain it…….it was just there……..

“Tina….it is not that way……I have led a very promiscuous lifestyle in my past, bringing women here and there for sex only….no strings attached, no staying over. They were always gone by 2am…..matter of fact, I haven’t slept in the same bed in a very very long time with anyone……..well, cept for you last night…….”

“That was the first time?” asked Tina……

“Yes, it was…..listen…….I like you Tina. I like you a lot, and I don’t think of you as I did those other girls. I don’t want to rush anything…..I want to spend as much time with you as I can, and spend the time to get to know you also……you are so different Tina….I have never felt about anyone the way I feel about you…..I cant even explain it to myself…….so, please. Can we just take it one day at a time? Get to know each other, and see what happens?”

“You like me? As in a girlfriend status? Even as fucked up as I am right now…..”

“Tina, I don’t think you are fucked up……I just think you need some help getting on the right path again, and I also think you need someone to help you get your memory back……T, I want to be that person….”

“Did you just call me T?”

“Yea……um. That is ok I hope….”

“I love it…..” tina said as she leaned towards me and pulled me into a hug…….I felt the warm tingle enter my body again……I don’t understand how this girl is different. She just is…..can’t help the way I feel…..um…….is this the same ol Bette Porter?…….yes, it is…….and she is changing…….for the better….
