“Bette, what have you done? I can’t accept it! It must cost you a fortune!” Tina whispered not being able to raise her voice from the shock.
Bette was immediately by Tina’s side and embraced her.
“I need to tell you what happened with Peggy Peabody in this trip. I had a call from her one morning. She needed me to go to her place and check out a painting. She wanted to know if it was authentic. She was ready to pay eleven millions to this painting and she wanted to be sure for her investment. I went there and it turned out that the art dealer was trying to sell to her a fake painting. Long story short, after the police was out of the way she announced to me that the next morning I would have at my bank account two million dollars as a way of thanking me for saving her a fortune.”
“What?” Tina squeaked.
“Yep! I didn’t have the chance to object. And she didn’t ask me, she announced it to me. The next morning I had a call for the bank asking me about the transaction. You can imagine how I was feeling. Anyway, this pendant is what I bought first. For the woman who gave me the most precious gift of all. Our little angel. I know that we are not together anymore but you giving birth to our daughter and letting me being her mother is something that I can never repay you. No matter how expensive pendants I buy you. This is just my way to tell you thank you.”
Tina was lost in thoughts trying to take all these things in. Bette was looking at her for a few minutes. She then took the box from her hands and left it on the table. She cupped her face in her hands and spoke softly.
“I know that we need to talk about Angie and her future. At least now we can be more relaxed about her education. She can choose where she wants to go to college… No, before you ask, I won’t force her to go to Yale… but T… although we are not together as a couple you are the other mother of my daughter and the person I have spent the best years of my life and I love you. I don’t care what people say, I know that you love me too. You could never pretend all these years. So accept it as it is. A thank you gift”
“I’ m glad that you know that I could never pretend. I made a lot of mistakes regarding our relationship, Bette, but I could never do something like that. Our relationship was real. And I still love you too or else we could never be here now, co- parenting Angie. You were and you will always be the love of my life” said Tina emotionally before crashing her lips to Bette’s.

I had not seen any comments from theotlv lately so I thought maybe she dropped me but I saw a comment on my new chapter so thank you both for that. I’m really curious to read how your story pans out because it’s one of the scenarios that I would have liked to see on the show. I didn’t want Bette to go after Jodi and I certainly did not want to see her come back. Just the fact that she stayed in NY in your story makes me love it. Hi Lizmar, What a wonderful beginning to an enticing storyline. I love how Bette and still have a magical physical realtionship. I do hope that Bette has broken things off with Jodi after this trip. She has been very mysterious about the details. Good to read that Tina welcomed these advances and even repaid some herself. I can’t wait to read more. Many thanks from A Fan.

Thanks for the shoutout. Will try not to be overbearing in my comments on this story. However, as I said I only want them together always with their little family and loving one another. From what Bette thought in the first chapter, I’m assuming that Bette did break up with jodi and we won’t be seeing her in Bette’s life again hopefully. Now, I just want Bette to tell Tina she is still in love with her snd she wants them to start over again together and make a family with Angie. Hopefully we will be reading thst soon and Tina will cut Sam loose as well. English may not be your first language but, you are doing a fantastic job with the language and the story. English is the hardest foreign language to learn. Thanks for an awesome story.
