Bette thought about everything, she came to the thought of how she would have reacted before she cheated on Tina. In many ways Bette thought that her reaction was a reply to Tinas reaction, she wanted to show Tina what it was like to be the one with guilt, to be in the wrong, to feel completely isolated.
It wouldnt change much just that Tina wouldnt have all of her attention fixed on Bette. Bette knew she wanted Tina and she knew that this didnt change one thing.

Tina went back to the bar to hopefully find something out about Jackie. As she pulled up to the car park she felt butterflies in her stomach, this was one of the hardest thing Tina had to do.

There was an old unshaven man standing at the bar.
hi Tina said taking in a deep breath.
Oh. Hello, how can I help you missy. God he was disgusting.
Umm Jackie, Jackie Ken Jackie Collins. Is she here? Oh god it was scary, what are you doing, she hates you Tina thought.
Your in luck, shes here getting her stuff, moving out with her rich boyfriend. This old place isnt good enough for her. He said laughing.
JACKIE, GET OUT HERE. Jackie walked out and looked directly at Tina.
Oh *****. Is all Jackie could say.
Yeah, sorry umm, can we talk somewhere? Tina was stunned by how amazingly beautiful Jackie was. And how much the little freckles on her cheek reminded her of the father.

Tina and Jackie walked out side and sat on the steps. Both of them nervous, sat there in the horrible silence that had built up over the time that they had spent apart.
I didnt mean to upset you the other night, I just wanted to see you. Tina said, she was trying so hard to be strong and show Jackie how much shed changed.
Jackie looked deep into Tinas eyes. I dont understand, why did you not come back for me?

I was bad at being a mother, when they took you away I realized that. I hoped youd go to a family that could give you more than I could. Jackie nodded sarcastically.
Or a foster home where I was raped and abused?
***** that was harsh, Tina held back her tears and she tried to be strong.
Sorry, I didnt (pause) I couldnt, I want to try and make thing better.
I know but I just All I ever wanted was to know you and have someone to call mum. And now youre here and Im not sure God Im a *****, Jackie thought, bringing the mum thing into it.

Tina gave Jackie her business card, which had Alices number written on it,
Call me sometime, when youre ready. I dont want to intrude on your life I just want to know you. Tina had a tear falling from her eye. How was Jackie being so strong? Tina thought, through this whole thing Jackie had shown no emotion.
Yeh Ill try.
Jackie looked at the ground nerviously, she could tell Tina was looking at her. Tina was relieved this had turned out a bit better than she had planned.
They both stood and then looked around.
So okay, Ill see ya round. Jackie said trying to sound cool.
Yeah um bye. Not knowing weather to give her a hug or shake hand Tina just walked off, looking back every couple of steps.
Jackie hated the fact that Tina looked good and looked happy, someone was making her happy something she could never do.

When Tina got back to Alices there was no one home, she sat on her bed and cried. Abused and raped my poor baby, Tina thought as she cried herself to sleep.

T, Tina awoke to the sound of Bettes voice, just like before thing went bad.
Bette What are you doing her? Tina quickly gathered her thoughts and woke up not long before she sat up.
They bothe sat there crying and just looked at each other, coming to terms with what had happend over the last weeks.
T.. I love you and if youll have me, I want to be here for you. I cant take back what I did but Ill try to work through my problems with you and Ill come to terms that I wont be the only priority in your life anymore.

All Tina could do was cry as she plunged into Bettes arms; Bette could stay there holding Tina like that forever. For the rest of the day and night Bette and Tina lay together holding each other, itd never been like this before. They’d never need each other so much. They didnt move an inch, not even during Alices attempt to be quiet when she got home.

It was about 6:30 when Tina woke up, she began to pack her things when Bette woke up.
That was the best nights sleep Ive had in ages. Now I have a heap of energy to burn. Bette said smiling at Tina.
Oh, really. Tina said raising one eyebrow. Tina continued to pack while Bette properly woke.
Tina quietly walked into Alices room, She looked so at peace with thing when she slept. Tina kissed Alice on the forehead and left a note by her bed explaining everything that had happened.

As Tina walked back into the guest room Bette came up behind her and started to nibble on her neck.
Not here Bette, wait for home. Tina turned around and kissed Bette, This kiss was so deep so meaningful. Something they had both wanted since the night Tina left.
It was the first kiss for their new beginning; it symbolized moving on and their relationship of seven years being so strong it could last through almost anything.

Later that day all the gang met up at milk for a coffee.
Oh Yeh Jackie called for you. Tinas eyes widened. As Alice saw Bettes face look at Tina. Everyone could tell Bette didnt care who or what it was as long as it made Tina happy.
What did she say? Tina was excited.

Shane, Dana and Jenny all looked at each other completely clueless.
Can I? Alice asked.
Sure go for it Tina said rolling her eyes and smiling at Bette.
Tina was happy, it didnt feel like she was hiding anything any more and while she remained with the vulnerability that she had now offered all of her insecurities to them she was glad that she could show that she trusted them. Even if they didnt fully get it.
