To Die Standing Chptr. 9
Tina was swinging her hips to beat of the music blaring through her home; Angie was dancing in the middle of the kitchen trying to get Tina’s attention away from her task at the sink. With her daughter’s sweet urgings Tina turned around and saw her little girl twirling her self around on one leg dancing with all her heart. She was a fit of giggles and smiles and even more so when Tina swooped her up in her arms and danced with her sitting on her hip all throughout the house. Angie giggled non stop as Tina took one of her hands stretched it out and spun them both around really fast. In the midst of spinning Tina caught a glimpse of her front door opening and in walked Alice and Tasha. Finally spent and dizzy Tina collapsed on the couch with Angie on top of her.
“Again! Again!” She excitedly shook Tina’s shoulder. Tina moaned and shook her head.
“Yea Mommy, again! Again!” Alice mocked bending down and kissing Angie on the forehead and then Tina.
“Sweetie have mercy on an old woman, Mommy isn’t as strong as she use to be.” Tina tried to reason with Angie who was still all smiles and repeated her last words to Tina relentless in her effort to spin some more. Before Tina could answer her Angie squealed as Tasha yanked her up from behind and ran out the backdoor with her little body tucked under her arms. Tina sat up and turned to see Angie and Tasha engrossed in a game of tag.
Alice flopped down on the couch next to Tina and said, “So what’s with the celebration?”
“Celebration?” Tina asked getting up and turning down her stereo.
“Yea it’s Saturday, you’re barbecuing, and you told everybody to come over. So what’s with the celebration?”
“There is no celebration. I just want to feed my family.” Tina said squeezing Alice’s cheeks before she went back into the kitchen to finish seasoning the meat.
“Bullshit! Are you trying a new recipe out on us like last time? Because if you are, fuck you I’m leaving right now.”
“It is not my fault your sissy ass can’t handle spicy food. Besides nobody told you to have a second and third helping.” Tina started laughing thinking about the sensitive way Alice sat down the next day at The Planet after Tina gave them some new spicy food she’d cooked. “Don’t worry your butt is safe tonight. I just got a little shopper crazy at the butcher’s shop and bought entirely too much meat.”

Thanks for the update!!
Wonderful update. Just excellent. thank you.
Have been eagerly waiting for this update for a looong time. Please post when you can. Please do not drop this story.
Wonderful update. Have really missed reading this story. Thanks so much for coming back to us. Really glad that Alice has started therapy and has taken the opportunity to apologize to Bette and Tina. Tina is used to Alice’s antics but not Bette. Then Bette speaking to Alice that she understood what she was going through made all of them feel better and Alice hold her head just a little bit higher and Tina’s heart expand to love Bette just that much more. Now Alice needs to go home to Tasha when her apology is over and let them get back to their evening and further romance. Surely you have already started writing the rest of this apology and Tina and Bette’s evening of romance in the next chapter. Please let them continue their evening they really do need this time together. Bette is becoming more at ease with Tina and their new romance. Thanks so much for the update.
Wonderful update.
Thanks for the update. I’m glad Bette opened her heart a little toward Alice. If her relationship with Tina is going to last she needs to become part of Tina’s family. I think their conversation will help to make them all closer.
I’m glad Alice finally let it out. I guess she feels like Rick’s memory is being totally eroded, but it’s just what happens after grieving the loss of someone you loved. It’s several times a day that you think about them at first, it’s suffocating. Then it might, with time, lessen to once a day. Then one day, you come to yourself and you’re almost horrified to realise that a couple of days have passed since you’ve thought of them… And that’s when the memories do start fading a little. It’s hard, but it’s what happens. I really love this story, it’s realistic and the pacing is just right. I’m always glad when you post. Thanks for the update. :)
That was great and glad Alice seeing help. Please post more, thanks!
