    To Love You More

Tina was standing in the bedroom filling her suitcase. She would move out of this house, away from Bette, away from this big mess. She just told Bette she was attracted to another woman, Sandra Fires. She had met her in the center. She had long, red hair and blue eyes. She had the most amazing body and Tina could laugh with her. She also told Bette she had kissed Sandra but nothing more. Bette, of course, was mad as hell at first and then she began crying and sobbing. Tina felt horrible but what she and Bette had… was gone in her eyes. For six months, their sex life was non-existent and they only kissed in the morning when Bette left for work and when they saw each other in the evening. The passion was gone. Tina still loved Bette and it hurtled her to see the pain she caused but she wanted to be with someone that could give her the in love feeling again. She needed someone that could fulfill her needs. Every need. She didn’t feel a ‘boom-ka-bam’ feeling when she kissed the redhead but she did feel aroused and that was what she hadn’t felt with Bette in months.

Bette was sitting on the couch, crying her eyes out. Tina, the love of her – now miserable – life was going to leave her. Never had she thought that would happen. She loved the woman with her whole heart and yes lately there had been a little crisis in their relationship but was that a reason to run to the first woman that crossed your path? She had never cheated on Tina while the blonde did and still, she was more hurt than angry. She wanted Tina, only Tina. She would forgive her partner for the kiss and try to make her happy in every way possible. Bette wanted a family but only with this woman, only with Tina. Why was life so cruel? Why did she have to lose this precious gem she called her partner, her girlfriend, her Tee. She felt panic and she felt like she needed something to calm her down. Music could always do that. Trying to whip her tears away, she walked to the stereo and inserted a CD. Just when she pressed play, Tina walked through the living room to the door. Every step Bette heard, made her heart break more.
