    Tomorrow – Chapter Six

    Chapter Six

Tina didn’t feel like talking to anybody the following days. She threw herself onto her work, trying to forget about the most amazing woman she had ever met: Bette Porter. She just couldn’t believe she had let herself get in this situation. Why had Bette lied to her? She was dying to know, but she didn’t want any contact with her.

She just knew that if she would hear her, or worse, see her, she’d just fall for her again. Bette would probably lie again and Tina would believe her, just because she wanted to. How many times had she told herself not to get into this? How many times had she told herself she wouldn’t get hurt ever again?

She hated seeing Ian around at work. She tried to stay out of his neighborhood as much as possible. She wished the movie was done, but they were only at the start.

That was both a good and a bad thing. It was a good thing because it meant she barely had time to worry about anything else than her job, but it was a bad thing because she kept running into Ian. It was as if someone was playing a joke with her. He appeared at the most unexpected places. Tina still wondered what he was doing around the ladies that one day.

Ian thought he had scored with Tina and she couldn’t make him clear that she wasn’t interested. He would just ignore her words and kiss them away. Anyone on set thought they were a couple, and Tina really didn’t need that.

She had even sent some friends of hers to him to try to seduce him, but Ian was steady as a rock. He didn’t give in the slightest bit and it freaked Tina out. Why couldn’t he be just an asshole like most of the guys she met?

Her cellphone rang and when she checked the caller ID, she saw it was Shane. She was relieved to be able to talk to her friend about this.

    “Hi, Shane, how are you?”

“I’m good. I kinda need your help, though. I’m having a little problem.”

“Depends on what you need me for.”

“I need you to be my girlfriend.”
