"… and even though I really tried to drag on and on with every chapter, well… eventually last week, I… hem…" Tina hesistated again
"… you got to the 20th chapter, the most recent one posted by JLBT, and got stuck there, not able to go on with the bedtime storytelling to our sweet little Angel, and the poor child, who was hanging on every single one of your words, is now desperately waiting for the rest of the story!" Bette finished off for her very ashamed and very crimson wife.
"Yeah…" Tina confirmed in a barely audible whisper, followed by a very heavy sigh.
"And how long has our child been deprived of Princess Christina and Poor exiled Elisabeth because of her well-intentioned but not-thinking-very-far-ahead mommy?"
Tina wanted to protest at her wife’s choice of words, but knew better of it. She was not in such a position right now. Besides, she knew Bette was just teasing and trying to get as much fun as she could from the situation. And if it had to be at her expense, well …so be it, she deserved it anyway.
"Two weeks…" she admitted "And our very smart 3-year old has been requesting them like crazy every single night ever since!"
"Seriously? Waooh, I’ve always known that you Kennard’s had a huge memory, but damn… she’s only 3 years old!"
"I know!" Tina exclaimed, thinking how much easier the whole situation could have been, had her daughter not been blessed with the Kennard’s fabulous memory gene.
"Aren’t you happy she’s spending the night with her auntie Kit tonight?" Bette said, holding her wife a little bit tighter to let her know with her own body language that she was just teasing about the rather funny situation.
Tina was usually the one to always be the voice of reason and wisdom when it came to Angelica, while Bette often questioned her own actions regarding their daughter. She was not very confident where motherhood was concerned, and was learning a lot from Tina’s coolness and assurance. They completed each other on so many levels, and raising their child had given yet another proof of that.
So it was really enjoyable for Bette to see her wife get herself caught in such a situation. And it was even more hilarious that Angie herself had grown smart enough to remind that same fact to her mother every night! Bette could picture the whole scene between her loves in her mind’s eye, and her heart melted at the thought.

lol…I love this…how about putting in your story one about Mending Hearts by Chasemenow…or So We Meet Again by Draemi…or The Burden of Control by Tibette99….those stories are missed so much. Please post soon.
Kword75, this is a fantastic idea you have and you are writing it so well. I am sure each author that you include in your story will be honored. I also enjoy the authors stories that you have mentioned so far but I am glad to see that you have included my favorite Allyemmerson. Can’t wait to see Bette’s reaction about her being portrayed as the POTUS. Thanks and please post again soon.
Such a neat idea to have B & T amuse themselves by reading fanfic! Now, if only the show’s writers would read and use a few ideas as more plausible plotlines! Continue this series–it’s a lot of fun!

I love how you’re stringing together the other stories into B&T’s world, very original. I was excited to hear that Tina liked the name Eli and that it elicited a “Yes dear,” from Bette. Your story is really jogging my memory on all the B&T stories I love. Thanks again for putting my story on your list of favorites.
