It was 6p.m. when Tina started making Chicken Parmesan,
Bette and Angelica’s favorite dish. She busied herself while Angelica was
painting away her beautiful masterpieces that her mother’s would soon be proud
of. In the background Tina had Luther Vandross’ Superstar song playing to
lighten up the mood.

*DINGDONG* the doorbell rang causing Angelica to be caught
off guard, giving her mother a look as if ‘who’s here’.  “UH OH baby let’s go see who could that be”
Tina already knew who it was as she quickly fixed her black tank top and fixed
her jeans. “Hello Tina” came from Henry as the door was opened. “Henry what are
you doing here” This was not part of the plan and Tina knew Bette would be
there any second. “Tina we need to discuss you and I and you haven’t giving me
an answer to my proposal” At this point Bette had barley parked onto Tina’s
drive way and witnessed what was going on. “Tina I’m going to ask you one more
time because I know you have had some time to think of you and I” Bette’s eyes
could not believe was she was witnessing right in front of her. “Will you marry
me Tina?” asked Henry as he took a knee in front of Tina. It was at that point
everything stood still for Bette, no second from any watch could be heard, no
pin falling on the carpet could be heard, and no other heart beat was any
louder than hers. “For the last time Henry leave me and Angelica alone!” yelled
Tina “Are you going to accept his offer Tina?” came from Bette who was now
standing in back of Henry.  Tina’s eyes
met with Bette’s and at that instant their entire memories flashed back between
the two of them. “No  Henry I will not
marry you now or ever” “Tina, are you only saying that because Bette is here?”
replied Henry “She answered you Henry and as far as we all witness here right
now, she will not be marrying you” stated Bette proudly. “Tina I WILL be back
to get the respond I KNOW I will get” said Henry as he left.

“MAMMA BEEEE” clapped Angelica as she made her way onto
Bette’s arms for a tight embrace. “Bette, come inside…I didn’t know he was
showing up here”

 “Why did he Tina?”

“I didn’t accept his offer last night nor did I decline it”

“What did you do then?”

“I went straight to our…your house last night, I needed to
get out right then and there”

“He seems to decline your answer Tina”

“My answer is final and do not wish to change it, shall we
have dinner”

The three of them sat down and were eating when Bette’s
phone alerted she had received a text message

*Thanks for breakfast this morning, let’s go out for drinks?

“Who’s that?” Asked Tina

“Um Jodie Lerner from this morning at breakfast”

“Oh…oh yea”

Tina got up and went to the bathroom

“Mamma Beee and meee drive mamma Tee craazy” yelled Angelica

“What baby, what did you say?” laughed Bette at her silly
daughter who was full of life

Angelica, with her puppy brown eyes looked at Bette and
repeated “Mamma Bee and meee drive mamma Tee crazy!!” she said proud of herself

“Who told you that baby?”

“Mamma Tee”

Bette laughed with her daughter while Tina stood out in the
hall way looking at the two beautiful women that she loved so deeply.

“What’s going on in here?!”

“Looks like our daughter here is busting out your secrets!”
laughed Bette who gave a wink to Tina

“Uh oh young miss, you are in tickle trouble!!!” replied
Tina

Tina gathered up the dishes and opened a bottle of wine
while Bette put Angelica to bed as she stood at the doorway listening to their
conversation.

“Mama B”

“Yes boo”

“You stay here?” asked Angelica with her sincere voice

“Um no baby, but I’ll make you a deal.. I’ll sing to you until
you fall asleep”

“mmkay” mustered Angelica

At this point Tina was sitting on the couch looking at the
pictures she and Angelica were looking at the day before.

“Hey what are you looking at?” asked Bette as she saw Tina
looking at some pictures smiling as if she was in a world away

“Don’t you have to leave to catch up with Jodie?” prompted Tina

“I umm turned off my phone so I don’t know who or what you
are talking about Tee”

This made Tina smile and glanced up at Bette “Well then, come
here and I’ll show you”
