Last time on “The LOC Word”, Dana and Alice sleep together, Dana meets Lara (again), Alex and Marissa move in, Tina agrees to move back home… And now…

Chapter 15:

So, do you guys want to come to my graduation? Marissa asked Shane, Jenny and Alex as they sat on the couch in the living room.

When is it? asked Shane.

Uh, next weekend. I really wish you guys could come. It would mean a lot to me, Marissa said as she grabbed Alexs hand off her knee and held it, To both of us.

Of course, Shane said.

Alex and Marissa had moved most of their things into the studio that morning. Marissa had three days left of finals and then they would move the rest of their things down.

Marissa was so excited to finally be on her own. Even living with Alex in her apartment wasnt totally on her own, because her mother kept checking up on her every week or two, and she would use Ryan to tell her if Marissa was all right. Here there were no parents. No familiar faces from her old life. But Marissa felt totally safe with these women, especially Shane and Bette.

So, Alice called me last night, Shane said with a chuckle, She was totally ecstatic. Apparently Tina is moving back in with Bette.

What? Thats great! exclaimed Alex.

So that means things are going back to normal? asked Jenny.

Normal is not the word Id use, but pretty damn close for sure, replied Shane in an ultra Shane-y way. Shane knew that once Tina moved back in with Bette, it was only a matter of time before they got back together officially. Shane had always been good at detecting sexual tension, for the most part because she was usually the cause of it.

Speaking of sexual tension, there was a knock at the door. Alex got up to get the door, and who else was standing on the porch but Carmen, Shanes on-again off-again, ber-*****, Latin lover.

Hey, Carmen chimed, You must be Alex.

Yeah, Carmen right?

Yeah. Is, um, Shane here?

Yeah, come on in.

Alex stepped to the side and Carmen walked in. Shane stood up and greeted Carmen with a kiss on the cheek.
