    Marissa meets Tina and they talk. Alex meets Jenny. Bette walks in on Marissa and Tina talking, awkwardness ensues.

    Chapter 6:

    Marissa woke up late the next morning. She heard a rustling sound coming from the room next to her. Who the ***** could that be? Marissa thought. She decided to investigate, forgetting to put her clothes back on. She walked into the hall in just her underwear.

    In Bettes room, Tina was busy throwing clothes from the closet into the duffel bag. Bette? she heard called from the hallway. She looked up just as the teenager walked in the room. Both stopped and looked at each other, confused. Tina assessed the situation, a cute half-naked girl in Bettes house. She glared at Marissa, assuming the worst.

    Who are you? Marissa asked.

    I should ask you the same thing? Tina bitched, What are you doing in my house?

    Youre house? Marissa asked, Oh you must be Tina. Im Marissa. God, its not what you think. Im Alex Kellys girlfriend”ex girlfriend, whatever.

    Alex? I didnt know she was in town with her girlfriend, or ex girlfriend? Um, Im sorry I jumped to conclusions.

    Its ok, you have a right to. I mean, strange girl, in your house

    In her underwear.

    Marissa looked down at herself, Oh *****! They both laughed. Im going to go get dressed. Then, um, we can talk, or whatever.

    Alex was also waking in the neighboring house to a knock on the bedroom door and a voice yelling, Shane! Alex rolled over; hoping whoever it was would go away. The knock persisted, and so did the voice, Shane, are you awake?

    No! Shes not ***** here? Alex yelled at the voice, tears beginning to stream again.

    Ok, ok. You dont have to bite my head off. Im sorry I woke you, whoever you are.

    Alex tried to go back to sleep but couldnt. *****, she moaned under her breath. She sighed and got out of bed.

    Jenny was sitting at the kitchen counter when Alex walked in. Sorry about waking you up, Jenny said in a timid voice.

    Its ok, Alex replied, trying to smile as best she could.

    Im Jenny, Shanes roommate.

    Alex, Shanes ex roommate.

    Roommate?

    Yeah, Im just in town visiting everyone. Wait a minute, are you the Jenny Marina almost killed herself for?

      Bette! That last line was just…awesome.

      I hope Marissa/Alex work it out. That’d be cool. Then B/T can talk…and Tina can tell Bette…she really needs to…Poor Bette, thinking Tina’s gotten big.

    3. Another great installment–thanks for getting another up so quickly. That last one was a little depressing but I sense this going in a good direction…interesting twist with T saying B&T could talk if A&M worked it out! So A&M have to work it out since 4 peoples’ happiness now depends on it!!! Please keep it up, looking forward to the next post.
