CHAPTER 21
Bette stood in the doorway, not believing what her eyes were seeing…
There she stood, right in front of her…The woman she has been aching for since the moment she left…
But there was something wrong with her…Terribly wrong.
Tina had a split lip, an obvious broken nose, and two black eyes..
There were blood stains on her clothes, and a almost dead…Broken look in her eyes.
"Bette….." Tina finally whispered, breaking the spell Bette was in.
"Tee…. My god baby! – What happened?" Bette asked, reaching out to her.
"It’s a long…. uhm……I-I don’t k-know where to……" Tina stammered.
She was feeling incredibly dizzy, her head starting to swim…. "I…." was all she got out before her knees buckled and she began to fall…
She never hit the floor though…. Two strong, warm, loving arms that at one time she had been so familiar with caught her as she fainted.
"Tina!!" Bette yelled in panic, as she checked her pulse…
"CANDACE!!! – CALL 911!!" She hollared into the house.
Candace came running to the door…
"What’s wrong?" She asked, taking in the scene before her…
"Hey, I recognise her, that’s the woman who was here earlier today looking for you…"
"CANDACE call 911 right now!! – She’s hurt, and it looks pretty bad!"
Bette repeated, looking back down at Tina, who began coming around again…
Candace ran into the house, then came back out a couple of minutes later.
"The ambulance is on it’s way" She said
"Tina? Tina? Can you hear me?" Bette asked softly, as she brushed the hair out of her ex wife’s face…
"Help is coming baby…We’re going to get you to the hospital"
Tina looked up at Bette with blind panic on her face…
"The kids…… I can’t go without the k-kids!….." She stammered
"What kids Tee?" Bette asked, looking around.
Then she spotted them. Two boys, teenagers probably, and a little girl.
Bette’s heart almost stopped beating…
The little girl.
Was it?
Could it be?
Bette waved for them to come up to the house.
Slowly, they approached, not knowing what to expect…
When they got on the porch, they saw Tina was down…
"Mommy" Angie cried out, running over and kneeling down next to Tina.

At least Tina go to Bette and away from that bastard. Noticed that Candace took off with the boys but she did not have that baby she was holding when Tina saw her. So who does he belong to and is this the same Candace that Bette had the affair with. If this Candace is white then it is a different woman. What gives here? More please.
