“Hey baby, everything ok?”
“Yeah, we’re fine. Be done in a few more minutes. You two still at the party?”
“Yes, we were just talking to Stephanie” Tina tells her, almost laughing.
“Okkkk. Are you guys ready to leave there?”
“Ready to go?” Tina asks Judy. Judy nods affirmatively.
“Yeah, we’re ready.”
“Why don’t you two just go to our house? We’ll meet you there in a few. We’ll have our own party on the back deck” Bette tells her.
“Sounds good. See you there.” Tina hangs up and tells Judy, “Bette says to meet up at our house to continue the party.”
Judy raises hey eyebrow at Tina, “Our house? Sounds like things are going very well.”
“They are Judy. They sure are.”
Tina and Judy arrived first. They got some snacks ready, turned on some music and made a pitcher of margaritas.
Bette and Mike arrived a few minutes later. They all got comfortable and settled in.
“We’re waiting. What happened?” Judy asked.
“Ramirez and Bradley got a call of a subject inside one of the schools. Apparently one of the custodians saw a guy wandering the halls” Hanson began.
“Well, you know how big the schools are, so many rooms, so many exits. They needed a few more officers for an adequate search” Bette continued.
“So, we got a chance to practice our building clearing skills” Hanson said.
“Our tactical approach, noise control” Bette took over.
“Use of light and team movement” Hanson said.
“And in the end we found no one” Bette continued.
“They probably got out before we ever got there” Hanson finished.
Tina looked at Judy, “Do they always do that?”
“Do what?” Judy asked.
“Tag team story telling.” They all laughed. “I loved it” Tina said to the group.
“It’s from all the years of working together. Mike probably knows me better than just about anybody.”
“And the relationship is mutual” Mike chimed in. Tina watched as Bette and Mike leaned over and clinked their glasses together, toasting each other. (Mike was having a beer, Bette as usual was just drinking water.)

I LOVED how Tina handled Stephanie and YES Bette definantly needs to call and tell Judy, Tina will need some back-up in handling Miss Stephanie. Steph seems to be the kind of person that doesn’t take NO for an answer and will try and be all over Bette while Tina is away. B&T really need to talk about how serious their relationship is so they can privately start to think about if and how either of them will be able to relocate. Maybe Tina can use Judy as a sounding board. If Tina does relocate, she will need some friends outside of Bette’s circle of friends with the PD just to add some balance to their lives. Please continue :o)

I see trouble for Tina and Bette with that bitch Stephanie around. I can see her putting the moves on Bette when Tina needs to go back home. Love the chapter, looking forward to more.

I HOPE this Bette isn’t a player…maybe that girl saw her running this morning and knew Tina was still there. Please let this Bette be sincere. This Stephanie chick needs another lesson I see. Tina looks like she is handling her own.

That’s why I hate long distance relationships. As soon as Tina leaves, the insecurities are going to eat her alive. Stephanie’s going to be a thorn in their side.

damn that Stphanie sounds like a stalker. GO TINA, she handled her really well, and would continue to I suspect. Although when she heads back to work, her minds gonna be on whats going on and if she can trust Bette. Then again it will make there relationship all that stornger……….POST SOON, AND MORE OFTEN…PLEASE!!!!!!!!
i don’t think bette is a player…that stephanie just a b**** that needs to meet with a small accident that will make her braindead so she won’t bother anyone…so who will give up their life for another? i think that maybe they both should move together somewhere else and begin a new life in a new place
Loved how Tina handled Ms. Steph. Now when she calls back Tina needs to tell her to “Step off Bitch!!!!”
LOL at the ending, that was great… first the way Tina handled Step and next Bette and the shower thing :o)) I think that Bette is 100% honest about Step and all other things, I’m sure Tina has nothing to worry about!!!! Post soon please, I love this story….
