Bette told Tina about how she had come out to Melvin. He had been criticizing some of her other behaviors and attributes and she had been trying to explain things to him. He was not listening to her argument, so out of sheer frustration she said, “well dad, you know something else, I’m gay.” He told her that he knew and he loved her. That was all the discussion they ever had about it. She never engaged in PDA’s around him, but some of her past partners had been with her to visit and even stay the night and Melvin accepted them without problem.
Bette pulled up in the driveway and turned off the engine. “Here we are.”
“I’m nervous” Tina gave voice to her emotions.
“Babe, I just told you that my father had always been very accepting of my relationships. And you are by far the most beautiful, sensitive, sweet, wonderful woman I’ve ever brought home. He’ll love you.”
“I hope so.”
“Trust me?”
“Of course.” Bette held Tina’s hand as they walked to the front door.
Marilyn Porter opened the front door and let them in. Bette introduced Tina as they walked inside. Marilyn hugged Bette, then she turned and hugged Tina as well. Tina was a little surprised, but felt that things had started off well.
They walked into the living room where Melvin was reading on the couch. He immediately got up and crossed the floor to Bette. He hugged her tight for a minute or more. As they separated, “Dad I want you to meet Tina Kennard.”
“Miss Kennard” Melvin acknowledged her “nice to meet you.” He held out his hand to shake hers. Tina offered her hand and he pulled it and pulled her into a hug. This time, Tina was definitely taken aback. How could these people just accept her and let her in so easily? Just go with it she thought.
They talked for a few minutes in the living room before dinner was ready. Dinner was polite conversation about everyone’s jobs, hobbies and recent events. After the meal, they returned to the living room where Tina wandered around, gazing at the pictures of Bette through the years. She found the picture of her graduation from the police academy. She was standing between Melvin and Marilyn. Melvin explained proudly, as she looked at the picture, “Bette was class president and class valedictorian.”

You definitely caught me off-guard with Jennifer’s girlfriend’s name. I was sitting here happily reading then I see the name Laurel out of nowhere. I howled with laughter. xD And thank god Melvin isn’t a jackass in this story!

Wow if Jennifer and Laurel are as gorgeous as Bette and Tina are we are all in deep arousal mode. I love your Melvin. It is nice to see Bette’s father actually love Bette unconditionally. Post soon, and I can’t wait to hear just how loud Bette is going to make Tina scream.

Melvin seems too good to be true in this story, maybe he is accepting because Bette carries a gun…lol. How soon before they rent the Uhaul? I guess they have to do the nasty first huh? Bring on the N-17’s. Please post soon.

I honestly felt Jennifer girlfriend was gonna be named Laurel, now to have both couple in one room omg if I was there I would faint, to see double pairing on both of them, sigh a dream come true….but since your story doesn’t describe their looks I can only dream lol ;-)
