The rest of the night was mostly spent with both girls laughing and taking shots. It was at around 11pm that they had both passed out on the couch with Alice’s head on Dana shoulder and Dana’s head on the arm rest which is where they lay peacefully for most of the night.

That is until Dana heard her phone blaring causing her to jump up making Alice crash into the table beside the couch.

“Holy fucking shit, Alice are you okay?” Dana asked scared that something was wrong when there was no response from the blond.

“Al…” Dana said as she knelt down next to the writer, “…please tell me your okay.”

Dana couldn’t see the blood falling from Alice’s head as the writer had fallen face first but luckily for Dana Alice hadn’t either.

“Fuck me that hurt.” Was all Alice responded still not wanting to move as her head hurt twice as much now from the hangover and the fall.

“Oh thank god! I thought you had died or were on conscious or something! I cant believe I did that, I am so sorry Alice, it was an accident, I didn’t mean to do it! Shit im sorry and…”

“Shhhhhh.” Alice replied as she started to pick herself up from the ground, “Your making it worse with all that rambling.”

Dana was just about to apologise some more when she noticed the blood trickling down Alice’s face.

“Jesus Alice you’re bleeding… Just stay here im going to get a towel and then call an ambulance.” Dana said panicking, she went to rush off but Alice stopped her and looked in the mirror.

“Your such a drama queen its only a small cut ive had worse.” Alice said smiling at her new friend

“But… but your bleeding and its…its my fault…I think maybe I should leave.” Dana stuttered as she searched for her shoes.

Her searching came to a halt when she felt Alice take her hand. “Dana honey, I know we have only been friends for like a day but you have to stop panicking, im fine and I don’t want my new best friend to leave now do i?”
