    Regrets

    Everyone grumbled at Shanes itinerary at first, but once they reached the Planet for lunch, they all agreed it was the best thing to kick off the week back in West Hollywood. Things had changed, of course, as they do over the years, but the Planet was still run by Kit, though she wasnt around much. She left most of the decisions and managing to a new face to most of the women. Unfortunately Kit wasnt in town during their week of bonding.

    God, this place hasnt changed much, has it? Im amazed Kits been able to keep it up and running. Tina remarked while sipping on her iced chai.

    Great, isnt it? Im here often. Alice said.

    Me too, when Im not running all around competing. Dana replied.

    I want to ask you guys a question. Shane began, wiping her mouth with a napkin.

    I feel like youre an investigative journalist this week, Shane. Who are you? Bette asked.

    Im serious. Im going to pick your brains this week, so get used to it. She looked at Bette. Ok, heres the topic of conversation for lunch: tell me something you guys regret.

    What do you mean? Tina asked.

    Anything. A regret. Something that didnt happen the way you wanted it to and now you look back and are disappointed about.

    Silence filled the table and everyone looked down at their food, not wanting to be the first to speak. It looked as if they were high school students avoiding the teachers question, hoping and praying they wouldnt be called on. They shuffled their feet under the table and pretended to have mouths full of food, unable to speak. Shane sat patiently waiting, resisting the urge to scold them for their childish antics.

    Finally Alice couldnt keep quiet. I have, like a million regrets, Shane.

    So tell us one.

    Alice thought for a moment and put her fork down. Alright, so maybe I regret not keeping in touch better with all of you. Good? She directed the question towards Shane.

    Nodding, Shane replied, Good. I think we all share that regret, dont we?

      Great chapter, and it’s funny how after dozens of breakups, Alice & Dana are still cute together. I’m wondering how the Bette/Tina situation is gonna be handled in this story. Please, another chapter? I can’t get enough of ’em
