What a way to say I’m sorry. Chapter 3

    Tina Kennard

Knocking on Alice’s door for the second time, I hear loud music blasting from her apartment. Ready to knock again more forcefully, I step back as Alice swings the door open with all her strength.

”Hey, TK! We were wondering who else is gonna show up at the best party in town!” She shouts at me through the music.

I roll my eyes at Alice’s usual self and come in.

”Who is we?” I ask her. ”And are you deaf? Turn the music down a little bit!”

She doesn’t bother to answer me instead she leads me towards her living room swaying her body to the music rhythm.

”Guys! Look who I have here!”

”Tina! Hi!” Shane and Dana greet me cheerfully. I look at other two Alice’s guests, who I don’t know.

Alice makes music quieter, then turns to me and throws her arm around my shoulder.

”Tina, this is Natalie and this” Alice releases her hold on me and comes over the redhead sitting on the sofa ”is Olivia” kissing her passionately, Alice then smiles at me mischievously. This is Alice’s way of letting me know about her new hot girlfriend and that she is crazy about her. Actually she seems nice to me except this big hideous tattoo on her left arm. And I just hope it’s not Gabby number two.

”Natalie, Olivia, this is our close friend, Tina. Without her other half for some reason.” She makes a pause then continues ”TK, where is Porter? For your information I’m not happy with both of you. How dare you avoid my calls for such a long time!”

”Al, it’s been two days” I say smiling at my queer friend.

”So? You were still avoiding me” She pouts but seems to forget that she is offended when Olivia kisses her neck.

I walk up to the coffee table to take a bottle of beer and then sit down on one of chairs.

”You didn’t answer where Bette is” Shane points out smiling at me.

”Oh I think she is off to work” I reply nonchalantly, sipping my beer.

”All is good?” She continues undertone obviously implying the night before since I called her wanting to know about Bette’s whereabouts.

    1. Good story so far but I can’t stand Tina and Bette fighting. They can be so hateful to one another. Please make it better between them – they can also be so kind and loving toward one another.

    2. This was such a good chapter you can feel Tinas pain and of coarse shes upset and no Bette Tina doesn’t want things she wants you to be there for her pps.

    3. Oh man, i hate them fighting.

Bette, don’t be stupid and go to Tina instead of wanting to run. You love her. And stop saying you are sorry, show Tina you love her.

Please don’t let them do stupid and horrible things to each other.

    4. I love the way you write. You can sense their feelings and live those emotions with them.
Please don’t make this the usual kiss-hug-sorry-everything is all right happy ending story. Life isn’t that easy. Little drama is always good and it makes the story more interesting to read.

    5. It is very sad to see these girls fight, there has to be a understanding, a good conversation without charging, knowing where they are failing would be the solution. This story is wonderful.
