    Chapter 11

    Tina knocked on Dana’s bedroom door before she walked in

    “Hey you nearly finished packing”

    “Yep” Dana dropped her suitcase to the floor, “I guess your not going to miss me this trip now you have Bette to keep you warm huh”

    Dana laid on the bed and patted the empty space beside her gesturing for Tina to come join her.

    “Of course I’m going to miss you…and Bette and I only really get the time to see each other on weekends not like you and Alice who seem to have part time careers”

    “So will you still be here when I get back or will you and Bette have already moved in together”

    “What…you are only going for a month and anyway it’s way too soon to even be thinking about that it’s only been 3 months”

    “Alice and I have talked about it”

    “What…really….your moving out….fuck Dana…..really”

    “Maybe when I get back we are going to talk about it again….I love her Tina”

    “Wow….I’m really happy for you Dana…I was starting to think we’d end up like the Golden Girls”

    Tina gave Dana a hug.

    “Thanks Tina….but what about you I’ve never seen you this happy, are you ready to give up……

    “Saved by the bell….that will be her”. Tina jumps off the bed and tried to wink at Dana before heading out the door.

    Tina opened the apartment door and nearly knocked Bette over jumping into her arms

    “Hey…what’s that for”

    “I’ve missed you, and to say sorry for not being able to see you this week”

    “I missed you too, but do you think we could could continue this inside”

    Tina dragged Bette inside just as Dana was leaving

    “I’m going to Alice’s she’s taking me to the airport in the morning…you guys be good ok”she gives Tina a hug, “I’ll call you sometime next week…see ya”

    “See ya Dane and good luck”

    Tina turns to Bette and takes her hand

    “Come on babe I’m hungry”

    “So why are you taking me to your bedroom”

    “I just told you I’m hungry”

    Bette laughs as it finally dawns on her what Tina is hungry for

    “How have you managed a whole week without sex I have only been in the door 2 minutes and your already trying to get my clothes off”

    3. Ok, so it’s 12:09am, and I still have a ton of work to do. Clearly, tonight isn’t happening. In the future, Skimmer, please don’t subject me to the pressure of having Chicki check this site for my post, ok? I think I’ve wasted more of the last two hours trying to figure out if I was going to have time to write, which obviously resulted in no time to write :P Ok, back to work. I promise that I will write my next post before I go to sleep, even if it turns out the sun is rising. But only because you made me feel bad. :D XOX

    4. and yes, I do know it’s my fault for making promises on a public forum. But I’m going to blame it on you because… well, why not? You can’t cross the Atlantic and hurt me.

    7. I’m glad you reposted this cos I don’t think I ever got the chance to read chapters 13&14. I do remember how 12 ended though. Another thing with the chance to read the chapters back to back is to see how Tina is like, a bit withholding, to say the least. Bette’s a bit cranky, yeah, but Tina’s totally passive-aggressive. Maybe once they move in together some of that will get better? I hope so, but you said there’s only one chapter left?!? :( Skimmer, that chapter better be LONG. (I’ll take what I can get though). Thanks!
