[Tinas sitting on Alices couch talking to her about everything thats happened this past month between her and Bette.]

Tina: (With a sparkle in her eyes)Its been amazing Al., shes been amazing.

Alice: I know, youve told me about a hundred times since youve gotten back together. Im really happy for you and BetteI just wish my love life were on such a high note.

Tina: Oh, Alice, after this well concentrate on you and getting Dana away from, as you so kindly put it, that gold-digging, twin dressing, cat killing, bee-atch that she is.

Alice: (Jokingly)Can you say that again, it sounds so much better coming from you.

Tina: (Pulling her into a hug)Oh, Alice, itll all work out.

[Alice jumps when she hears her cell phone ringing. Maybe its Dana.]

Alice: (Answering the phone)Oh, hey Shane, thanks for calling me back.

Alice: Im sorry, I thought you were Dana.

(Pause)

Alice: Yeah, yeah, I know Yoda, give it time. As much time as it takes everyone these days to realize who they love or still love (looking directly at Tina) Im going to be old and gray.

Tina: (Smiling)HEY! (Throwing a couch pillow at Alice.)

Alice: Just get over to my place, Tina has called a meeting.

Alice: Shane said shed be here in about 30 minutes.

Tina: Great, now we still need to call Dana and Kit.

Alice: (Piping up)Ill call Kit.

Tina: Alice, you cant avoid her forever. I know the two of you talked and I know she chose Tanya, but remember, she kissed you too. I think you need to turn on your charm and show her she made the wrong choice.

Alice: (With a look like a light bulb just came on in her head)Ewww, a challenge. I can do that. Besides, its Dana.

Tina: Now go call her. Im going to call Kit, I need her input before all this takes place.

Alice: Ok, ok, fine. You win this one TK, but you owe me.

Tina: (Kissing Alices cheek)More than youll ever know.

[Alice gets up and goes into the kitchen to call Dana. Tina uses this moment alone to call Kit.]

Tina: Hey Kit. How are you doing?

Kit: Hey Tina. Im doing all right. How are you doing?

Tina: Im great Kit.

Kit: Yeah thanks in part to my baby sis.

Tina: (Smiling)Shes one amazing woman.

Kit: Im just glad you both can see that now.

Tina: Kit, I need to ask you something.

Kit: Im listening.

Tina: Well, Bette and I have been back together for a month now.

Kit: Believe me, I know. I dont think a day goes by that Bette doesnt tell me that in one way or another.

Tina: (A huge smile appears)Anyway, I want it to be permanent. I want her totally and completely.

Kit: Does Bette know this?

Tina: Not yet, but she will.

Kit: Ok, now Im curious.

Tina: Bette has been so wonderful and well behaved and frankly Im tired of it.

Kit: You know Tina, she made you a promise and I know my baby sister, shes going to keep it this time. Even if it kills her.

Tina: I know Kit, thats not what I meant. (Pause) I want her to know Im ready for everything. (Finally saying out loud what she has said to herself many times)I want my wife back and everything that goes with it.

Kit: Thats great Tina. Im really happy for you two. But what does this have to do with me?

Tina: Ive called a little meeting with the girls here at Alices, Ill explain everything then. Can you make it?

Kit: Sure, Ill be there shortly.

Tina: Thanks Kit.

[Tina ends her call to Kit just before Alice re-enters the room.]

Alice: Danas on her way.

Tina: (Curiously)AND!

Alice: And what? Im not turning on the ole Alice P. charm on the phone. Oh no little missy! Ill do it in person so she cant resist me.

Tina: (Laughing)Thats my girl. (Pause) Al., I need a few moments alone before everyone gets here. Will you let me know when they arrive?

[Tina goes into the bedroom and closes the door. Alice is left standing there, What the ***** was that all about? I dont know what you have planned TK, but it better be good.]

[Dana is the first to arrive but nervous about going in. Every time were in the same room together I cant help but notice things I never noticed before. Dana gets out of her SUV and starts to pace the parking lot, Should I go up? A few minutes later Shane shows up and all fear is gone.]

Dana: (Relieved)Im so glad youre here.

Shane: (Toying with her)Well, well, Miss Dana, I never thought Id live to see the day

Dana: (With a straight face)Very funny Shane.

Shane: (Chuckling)Why are you so nervous, its just Alice!

Dana: Can we just drop it and go inside?

Shane: (Still chuckling)All right Dana, after you.

Alice: (Talking to the door)Tina, Dana and Shane are here.

Tina: (Yelling back)Thanks let me know when Kit arrives.

Alice: Will do.

Dana: (Confused as always)Whats going on? Why is Tina in there? Didnt she ask us to come over?

Alice: (Just as confused but decides to mess with Dana)Damn Dana, were not playing 20 questions but when we do youll be the first to know.

Dana: (Shooting Alice a look)Very funny Alice, Im serious.

Alice: I dont know, after talking to everyone she said she needed to be alone for a few minutes before everyone arrived.

Shane: Is everything ok with her and Bette? Is Bette even coming over?

Alice: No, she didnt invite Bette, but I have a feeling this has something to do with her.

Dana: (Still confused)I thought everything was going good between them?

[Theres a knock at the door.]

Alice: Hey Kit, hows it going?

Kit: Hey girl, hey ladies. (Pause) Does anyone know whats going on and why were here?

Alice: (Knocking on Tinas door)Tina, Kits here.

Tina: Thanks Al., Ill be right out.

[Tina continues pacing shell say yes, she has to. Get it together Kennard, you have to keep calm if youre going to pull this one off.]
