    What Time Reveals Part 13

“Helena,” Tina was able to get out without too much distain, “explained the project to me and I’ll be meeting you at the center with a camera man to do a little filming. She also mentioned that her mother may be interested in financing the documentary, did she agree?” Tina finished trying not to give to much of herself away, but her mother, father, and Bette saw right through. A surprise looked crossed her stunning features, since she thought for sure that Helena would have called to tell her about that. Bette assumed that Helena would want to work on the project not give it to Tina. Bette’s brow creased as she addressed Tina’s question.

“Peggy agreed to back the film, she was pretty excited actually, but I’m getting a little anxious about how the kids are going to respond to having all these people watching them on their first class.” Bette explained with concern.

“What ‘all these people’, Bette? It will be me and Frank, a camera man, and you teaching. Helena gave me the impression that you were in favor of the documentary.” Tina snapped, Angelica jumped at Tina’s harsh voice and Bette immediately soothed her back down. Bill and Sarah looked a bit surprise at how quickly Tina snapped at Bette. Things were beginning to make sense as the time went on.

Bette closed her eyes, as she continued to rub Angel’s back. She as fighting the urge to lash back at Tina but saw Angel’s quick reaction to it and thought better of it. It was at this time that the waitress came and took their order.

“Peggy and Helena will also be joining us at the center, so that’s two more extra people. It’s not like these kids know me well or even trust me. I realize that many might recognize you since you did work with them, but I honestly don’t know. Do you think they’ll be intimidated by several strangers and a camera man?” Bette calmly asked. Again both Bill and Sarah saw how Bette had tried to clam the situation and make an honest inquiry.

“I don’t know Bette.” Tina replied in a harsh voice that wasn’t loud so not to disrupt her napping daughter. “I hope some would recognized me, I couldn’t very well continue to work there and work at the studio could I? Or would you have preferred…”

I really love it that T’s parents are so understanding towards Bette and try everything to make a bad situation right. Tina is finally realizing what she has trown away the past year and now it’s too late, well yeah it’s her own fault isn’t it. 3. Well, dinner could have gone much worse, but I’m glad Bette and Tina’s parents remained amicable. I sure how you don’t truncate B&H’s first time together with some sort of cliff hanger. ;-)

    4. Bravo! I’m glad Bette didn’t fall into Tina’s clutches. That woman really needs anger management. Great chapter. Touché on the tease -_-
