I had NO idea at the time just how much truth there was in that statement I DID end up liking her she was easy to talk to and fun to be with she became a very good friend. That is all we could ever be right? She is engaged I am married besides I am straight and I am too old for her even If I weren’t straight.

CHAPTER TWO

I was always anxious to get to work knowing that Bette would be working with me. The time seemed to always fly when we were together. We always had conversations that would peek my curiousity.

Tina: So what did you do on the weekend?

Bette: Peter and I went out for dinner and a movie with our friends

Tina: Sounds like fun

Bette: Yes it was. Linda and Larry are fun to be around.

Tina: Nice. So you four get along quite well i take it?

Bette: Yes Linda is my best friend and we made plans to go out again next weekend.

Tina: Really? The four of you are going out again next weekend?

Bette: Yes we are going out dancing

Tina: Well you gotta have fun right?

Bette: Yes true

That night at home Tina is cooking dinner and Charlie comes up behind her wrapping his arms around his wife. He gently kisses Tina’s cheek.

Tina: What was that for?

Charlie: Just a thank-you for making dinner.

Tina: You are welcome.

Charlie: It smells very good.

Tina: Thanks. Can you go get the boys to come down to eat their meal?

Charlie: Sure dear I will get them.

After everyone is done eating the boys do the dishes while Charlie and I sit and watch TV for awhile.

When the dishes were all cleaned and put away the brothers went to their room to do some reading before going to bed.

Tina gets dressed in her nightgown while Charlie puts on his Pyjamas they both lay in bed and fall fast asleep.

That night I had a dream I was standing in front of the stove cooking and Chalie had put his arms around my waist so I turned to give him a kiss only to see the face I was starring into was NOT Charlies
