The next day everyone met up at the planet before they went off to there appt. or to work.

Alice and Dana were the last to arrive. Nobody looked really happy today. They sat around the table that Bette, Tina and Shane were at.

Shane: Come on you guys cheer up. This is why I didn’t want to tell you what was happening. I didn’t want to bring all of you down.

Bette: I wish that you would have told us all of this earlier. If you did then we could have helped…we could have gotten you help.

Tina: Taken care of.

Dana: What?

Shane: I’m going to go to the center with Tina today and talk to someone about what happened.

Alice: Good Shane I think that it will really help.

Shane: Yeah I’m jsut scared.

Tina reached over and took Shane’s hand in her own.

Tina: Hey there is no reason to be scared I am going to be right there with you the whole time.

Shane looked up at Tina and nodded.

They all finished there coffee and went on there way. Tina and Shane were the last to finish. Tina knew that Shane was stalling.

Tina: Shane we really need to get going.

Shane: I know just give me a minute okay? I’ll meet you out in the car.

Tina: Okay.

Tina left Shane to deal with her inner demons.

Shane *thinking*: You can do this Shane. You just have to tell the story of what happened to you again. I know I said I would never mention anything that happened there but Tina said it would help. Maybe this will help. Maybe it will help me deal with everything else that ever happened in my life. This could be a very good thing, or a very bad one.

Shane got up from her seat and exited the planet. She saw Tina sitting in her car on her left and she saw her way out on her right. Tina and Shane locked eyes for a second then Shane took off running like a bullet.

Tina knew that she could cut her off at the next intersection and that is exactly what she did. Shane ran right into the car. She tired to run around it but Tina moved the car so that she couldn’t.

Tina got out of the car and went over to Shane. She was breaking down from the minute she stopped running. Shane was about to fall to the ground but Tina caught her and held her as she cried.

Tina: Shane what is it?

Shane: I can’t do it. I can’t go through with it. I had a bad life i don’t want to live it all over again. I don’t want to give in to bad habits. I don’t want to be like I was before.

Tina: Shhhh…you’ll never be like you were before. You have Alice, Dana, Bette and even me now. We are not going to let anything happen to you. Do you uderstand me?

Shane nodded against Tina’s chest.

Tina: I’m going to bring you back to my place and let you sleep. I guess you didn’t get a lot last night.

Shane: Tina?

Tina: Yeah, Shane?

Shane: Will you rest with me? Just hold me so that I know I’m safe?

Tina: Of course if that is what you need to feel safe then i will. I want you to always know that you are okay.

Tina drove the both of them back to Tina and Bette’s house. It was about 11:00 in the morning. Tina lead Shane into her bedroom. Shane sat down on the edge of the bed not saying a word, not even moving. Tina untied Shane’s shoes and took them off.

Tina: Do you want your jeans off too?

Shane just nodded. Tina took them off for her. She felt like she was helping her not like she was coming on to her and Shane understood this as well.

She pulled back the covers and Shane slipped under them. Tina did the same on the other side. Tina scooted over and held Shane from behind. Shane let out a sigh. It was the first thing she had said or done that made Tina sure that she wasn’t in shock. They both fell asleep until later that night when Bette came home.
