“Good morning.” Helena said cheerfully as Alice made her way into the kitchen

“Hey.” Alice yawned

Helena set down a steaming cup of coffee in front of Alice. “Did you sleep well?”

“Great actually, just like every night this past week.” Alice smiled

Helena smiled at the thought of the past week with Alice. It had been rough the first few days with Alice being moody and irritable, but Alice had become incredibly fun to be around.

“What are your plans for the day?” Helena asked

“I don’t know. I was thinking about going down to the beach and reading a book.” Alice stretched

Helena glanced at Alice, noticing how Alice’s shirt rode up, exposing her stomach, and how the material of her shirt was stretched tight against Alice’s chest.

“Hello! Earth to Helena!” Alice said loudly

“Hmm?” Helena snapped out of her trance

“You ok? You totally spaced out on me.”

“I’m fine dear.” Helena smiled reassuringly

Except I might be falling for you, Helena sighed to herself, trying to shake her thoughts of Alice.

“You busy today, or would you want to meet for lunch?” Alice asked

Helena glanced at her watch. “Alice, it’s noon now.”

“I know. So lunch?” Alice laughed

Helena laughed. “Why not.”

“Good! I’ll go change.” Alice said, jumping up to go change

Helena watched Alice walk away, her gaze lingering on the writer’s ass.

“Oh fuck. This is no good. Not good at all.” Helena mumbled to herself

After Alice had gotten dressed, Helena drove them to a small café on the beach.

“I hope you don’t get mad at me, but I’ve invited someone to join us for lunch.” Helena said cautiously

“Helena, I’m really not in the mood to be around people.” Alice sighed

“I know, but I don’t think that you’ll mind this person being there.” Helena smiled

“Fine.” Alice threw up her hands. “I trust you.”

The two friends got out of the car and walked inside the café.

“Well look who the fuck decided to come out of hiding.” A voice called out

Alice turned to the voice, a huge smile appearing on her face. “Well I’ll be damned.” Alice laughed

Shane walked over to Helena and Alice and grabbed Alice, lifting her off the ground with the force of her hug.
