When New and Old Collide: Chapter 30
Previously:
Tina looked up and met Bette‘s gaze. Tina knew right when there eyes met that this was where she was supposed to be. As they walked towards each other everything and everybody disappeared and it was just them.
Bette: “I love you and I want to be with you. I want to make happy memories to take away the bad and I want to raise our daughter in a happy and loving home. I want us to be a family.” she says a little out of breath.
Tina: “I want that too Bette. I have missed you so much. Do you think that we can get out of here to somewhere a little more private so we can talk?”
Bette: “Of course. Do you want to go back to the house?”
Tina: “No, Dana is there with Beth. Can we go back to your hotel?”
Bette: “Sure, are you ready?”
Tina: “I have been ready.”
Bette and Tina walked towards the clubs exit hand in hand, neither looking at the other but feeling a sense of relief all in the same. Tina wasn’t afraid of her decision about choosing to start over with Bette; the only thing that she was a little weary about was how Bette was feeling about her. Bette on the other hand was feeling incredibly anxious. This morning Tina told her that she just wanted to be ‘friends’ and Bette was just coming to the realization that Tina didn’t want to be with her, and that she was going to have to get on with her lifeshe was on a date for god’s sake and now they were on there way to her car to a place more ‘private’.
Bette opened the door for Tina to get in and Tina smiled at her as she slid into the passenger seat. Bette knees almost buckled as she shut the door and walked around to the other side of the car. Bette tried to wipe the gigantic smile off of her face before she opened the door; she didn’t want to scare Tina.
Alice ran over to Anne as soon as Bette and Tina walked out of the door.

Great ending to a great story. I’ve never found that person and sometimes I feel that only exists in fairy tales. I’ll just have to live my life through these fan fics.

Great ending, to a fantastic story. There were bumps along the way, as there are in life, but in the end, true love usually wins out.
i’ve been with you from the beginning it’s a lovely story i’m with my one and only (30 YRS) i never undersytand why happy endings make me cry i hope you write another story too

you know i just found that person…nad i want to be with her for the rest of my life and she is amazing and yes when we love someone we have to say everyday how much they are loved… that simple gesture make a great difference in the end of the day…ok draemi really great im glad B&Ts heart lead them to each other again..please give us more and more thanks :o)

Thanks, it was a fun story to read. I would have like to see more Bethy and Bette time and really want to know what Beth’s room looked like. I’d love to see one more chapter when either Bethy is over for a visit or Tina and Beth move into Bette’s house. Yu started a Tina and Bette story, but you creation of Bethy was the real jewel here.
