I woke up shocked to see my girlfriend inside my bedroom. She hasn’t seen me yet as she is facing away from me and seems to be busy fixing something in the bathroom.

"What the hell is she doing here this early? I didn’t thought she’ll actually show up this early." I asked myself confused but with a smile on my face because I know she’s doing something to surprise me. "Let’s just see who’ll end up surprised."

I saw Tina enter the bathroom, carrying a small bag and I took this as an opportunity to get out of bed. I silently walked towards the bathroom taking extra care not to move suddenly so that she will not notice me. I peeked inside the bathroom and I can see her lighting candles all over the tub which is by now filled with water. I wanted to leap inside and scare her but I thought I’ll let her finish lighting the candles. I don’t want her hands to get burned!As I saw her light the last candle I jumped inside the bathroom to shock her. She freaked and almost lost her balance. She was shocked to see me and I have a big smile on my face seeing my girlfriend freaking out.

"I hate you." Tina said to me.

"What are you doing here so early?" I said giving her a kiss on the cheeks. "Would that include a nice warm bath? And a breakfast in bed?" I asked.

"That’s the plan. And a home cooked meal for lunch and dinner too but I suddenly changed my mind."

"I think your girlfriend deserves all of that." I said reaching for her hand.

"Well, I think your girlfriend doesn’t deserve to be freaked out especially if she’s doing something nice."

"But it was funny." I said kissing her hands. "Admit it, it’s funny."

"It was, if I’m not the subject of your evil plan!"

"Okay. I’m sorry. I promise I won’t do that again. Especially when we’re celebrating our anniversary."

"Uh huh.. Now get in the tub." Tina said.

I took the shower that Tina prepared for me and as much as I wanted to grab her and ask her to join me, I know that it will not happen any time soon and especially not right now but hey.. a girl can dream right?
