Bette’s Side

"What?" I asked Bette who is looking at me curiously.

Bette and I just finished making love and Bette is lying on top of me with her elbows resting on either side of my face.

"You act so giddy after making love." Bette said smiling at me.

"I do not!" I retorted.

"Uh huh." Bette said as she kiss me. "Yes, you do!"

"Okay.." I said. "I guess I do." I admitted. "But I’m not the only one."

"I do not act giddy after sex!" Bette defended herself.

"Maybe not but how about your gooey eyes?" I said.

"I do not have gooey eyes!" Bette exclaimed.

"Really??" I said and I dared Bette to look at me. "Look at me."

Bette looked at me first with her eyes, big as if trying to mock me but then after a few seconds her look changed from being mocking and playful to being sweet and lovely. She took away some stray strands of my hair and brushed them away from my face and then she looked at me again, this time she looked a little more serious.

"You, Tina Kennard means the world to me and I admit that every time we finish making love I have this gooey, lovey-dovey eyes and I, too, also feel giddy after making love to you.." Bette stopped to kiss me softly on the lips. "..and I know I act like that way because.." Bette paused again, she smiled at me and I thought, Oh god, I love that smile. I love her so much. "..I love you."

"That was sweet." I replied and I thought to say something back to the wonderful thing that my baby said to me. "Well, just so you know, Ms. Bette Porter.." I said, mimicking Bette’s speech earlier. "..every time I hear you say you love me, I feel butterfies on my stomach, like I’m a little school girl seeing her crush, and.." I said and I pulled Bette closer to mine, closer to me so that I can whisper in her ear. "..every time you say you love makes me want to make love to you." I said and Bette buried her head on my neck as she give soft kisses on it.

"I love you." Bette whispered in my ears.

"You’re teasing me!" I exclaimed. "You’re saying the magic word."

"I love you.." Bette said again and I knew what Bette is doing, repeating those three words after I confessed what those three words do to me.

"You have to work early tomorrow and it’s already late." I teased my baby knowing that no matter what, we will end up making love again.

"I know." Bette said as she began to kiss my ears, then my neck which illicited a soft moan from me. "But I love you.." Bette said and she look at me seductively.

"You love me?" I asked Bette.

"Uh huh mmm.." Bette said as she begin to make her way downward.

"Kiss first, baby." I said and I pulled Bette back up again to meet my lips.

"Round two?" I asked Bette as we ended our kiss.

"Yes." Bette simply said and she continued her descend down to my body, wasting no time at all.
