    B&T beginning – Chapter 17. Take the box Tina

    She grew up in an environment that taught her to be tolerant and patient towards her own family, and later life showed her that being in a good mood and trying to see the positive in every negative thing that happens to you or around you, are things you choose every morning when you wake up… so how come she had turned into this cruel and sad and bitter person… during Eric and after him.

    The phone started ringing and Tina’s heart skipped a beat. She knew it was Bette…her Bette, the woman who had changed and rocked her world in three days. Tina’s shaking hands went to the phone, she hesitated for a moment… but what good comes from wondering what the other is thinking or feeling unless you go ahead and ask…

    “Tina Kennard.” She said with a low voice.

    “Hi T.” Bette said shyly, like testing the ground before stepping on it.

    Tina’s heart was racing a 100 miles a minute.

    “Hi Bette.” Tina was searching for words.

    “I’m sorry” They both said in unison after a moment and they both released a much needed giggle at the same time.

    “No I’m sorry T, I’m sorry I wasn’t there… you have no idea how hard it was for me to leave this morning, those stupid meetings I had to attend to… all I’ve been thinking about all day long is you and I’m really, really sorry for not being there when you woke up T…” Bette sounded so sincere that it melted Tina.

    “Bette, it’s ok. I am sorry for last night, and the way it ended. That was certainly not how I wanted it to end…” Tina admitted.

    “T you don’t have to apologize for anything ok? In fact I thank you for last night.”

    Tina was so not used to someone treating her like that, being so understanding and the feeling of being overwhelmed around Bette was there again… most likely it had never left…

    “But what do you thank me for Bette? I did nothing but…”

    “I thank you for sharing one of the things that probably hurts you the most about your past… I’m not used to open up to people and for people to open up so easily to me and that means the world to me T, because you made me feel so close to you…” Bette interrupted.

    6. gosh i dont know wot to say except that i am speechless….u are so very touching and compassionate in your writing…u just have no idea how great u are….i will admit that i cried in this chapter….not tears of sadness, but tears b/c of the way that u write….if only u were the writer on the show then we can have our tibette bak together….everytime u write i never want your story to end b/c u always have a nice surprise at the end…i can only hope that tina goes to bette, but time will tell….i know that u must work alot but i hope u can post sometime soon….take care ana…thank u for the update…sincerely,christina :) :) xoxoxoxoxoxxo
