    B&T begining – after the kiss…

    Chapter 7

    Tina was still hiding on Bette´s neck, probably the best place on earth to hide, but she also knew she would have to scape that place soon, specially because that particular spot was as intoxicating and comfortable as Bette´s mouth…

    Bette was starting to be worried now… she was struggling with her thoughts, trying to get any conclusions of what had just happened. And not only conclusions of how Tina would be feeling now, but also her own conclusions… she was still not able to process what she had just felt, and how she was still feeling… now that Tina had her face burried on her neck. There had been an enormous feeling of familiarity first during the conversation, then during the kiss and now… that she was still holding her…

    “Are you ok?” Bette asked softly, her warmth breath falling down on Tina´s ear.

    Tina wasn´t expecting this… any of this. She was overwhelmed by everything… how easy it was to talk to Bette, how lost she would get just by staring into her eyes and how she could still feel Bette´s lips on her own… something about Bette had hit home for her, and this feeling as comfortable as it was it was also scaring her a lot…

    “Yes… I… I….” not exactly knowing what to say and now taking her face away from her hiding spot and allowing her jaw to rest on Bette´s shoulder, unable to make eye contact still…

    “I´m really tired and it´s really late, maybe I should go back now…” Tina concluded finally braking the embrace and taking one step backwards, away from Bette.

    Bette was taken aback by Tina´s reaction, and the fact that she still wouldn´t look at her in the eye. She felt how the warmth that was running through her body only seconds ago now had just turned into coldness.

    “Yeah, we should go back…” Bette said, slowly starting to move and reflecting that coldness that she was now feeling in her speech.

    Not a word was said on the way back. It was unbelievable how everything changed during the course of one second. That one second that Bette took to decide to kiss Tina, and that same amount of time that Tina´s mind took to get her scared with one single question… what the hell are you doing?

    1. I hope Helena is not negative about Bette. Even though she doesn’t like Bette she is supposed to be Tina’s friend so she should see the instant connection they have and try to help a good friend work her feelings out. claricestarling is correct about the ex Winnie Mann. PPS

    4. Can’t wait for Bette to be honest. I’m kind of glad Tina told Helena off, though. I didn’t think she was rude for no reason. Helena was all up in her insane hating Bette rants for several chapters. Hope B/T get some more alone time soon. PPS.

    5. Your story is brilliant and lovely. The sweetness in the feelings awakened between these two is very well written. for someone who does not have English as their first language you writing is incredible. More please, put aside your “laziness” and write and write and write.

    12. Imagine I went to the next page and their was nothing there. Those two definitly need some time alone together again. Maybe they can run into each other on the beach tonight.
