Bette sat in her car and started to drive….
Meanwhile, Kit was on the phone with Alice….

Kit hung the phone up and grabbed her purse on the way out….once at the Planet, kit

walked in and grabbed a table….

“Um…no…I was just wondering…she has usually already been in this late in the evening…I have

her coffee waiting and it’s getting cold…that’s all…”

“Ok…coming right up…” said Marina as she walked away puzzled to Kit’s reactions to the

ready..’ Just then Jenny walked in the door…..and Marina stood in awe of this

woman…standing in her cafe….that she had told she loved on an answering machine.’*****.’

On the way to taking Kit her coffee, Marina smiled at Jenny…..”Come on…I will seat you

“She is driving up the coast….” answered Kit…

stood and grabbed Alice’s hand and leading her fast out of the Planet…”We have to go see

Tina and find out what happened…”
Once there, they walked inside calling Tina’s name…

They walked out to the back by the pool…and there was Tina laying back in the lawn

better….” said Alice…”Come on….Kit…we have to go and find Bette before she does

anything stupid…” and she grabbed her friends hand and walked back through the

house…..”Wait…kit…I need to ask Tina something before we leave…”
Alice walked back out to Tina’s chair…”Tina, you never told us where is Eric staying?”
“I told you that I don’t know…” Tina lied..
“Then how long is he in town for?”
“A week or so…”

Alice turned around and walked out to the car..”What did you ask her?” asked Kit
“I asked her where Eric was staying so that it wouldn’t be so hard to track Bette down…I

just know that she went to see him…that is how Bette is…”
“And what did she say?”
“She said that she had already told us that she didn’t know…but that he was only in town for a week…or more…so from that

I can gather that he would be staying at a hotel here in town…”
“Good work..Al…you know…you really should’ve been a private eye…” said Kit

smiling…”You have the calling….”
” I know…so we will drive through the parking lots of every hotel in town until we find

her car.” said Alice as she started the car and drove off….

Finally, at 3am, Bette was at the last hotel in the city….she walked into the lobby…”I need to

know if there is an Eric staying here?”
“Mam…can u be more specific…like a last name?” asked the secretary…
“I’m sorry…I am not sure of the last name…’
“Well mam, I am sorry but I can’t look someone up without a last name….”
“*****…” said Bette aloud…
“Excuse me mam?”
“I apologize….I really need to see him…it’s urgent…”
“I just don’t know what else I can do for you…”
“Goddamit…thanxs for nothing…” said Bette as she turned to leave…as she was walking by

the bar…she looked in and spotted someone who looked like Eric….
“Eric” she said as she walked up to him….he stood and so did his date for the evening…
“Bette Porter….my god…it’s been a long time…how are you?” said Eric in all smiles..
“Give up on the happy to see you ***** bullshit….you are one stupid mother ***** if you

think that you can just walse into town one day…***** my wife…and expect me to let you

get away with it….and you…*****…” said Bette as she pointed at the lady that he was

sitting with…”If you are stupid enough to think that this ***** is gonna stay with you

and be faithful….then you deserve him…”
“Bette…slow down…you are getting a little loud and people are starting to stare…”
“I’ll give them something to stare at….” and with that she pulled her fist back and

punched him straight in the face….

my face….”she yelled…just as the security guard came around the corner with Alice and

Kit on his tail…..He grabbed Bette and pulled her away from Eric…whose nose had bled all

“Look officer, can we just take her home?” asked Alice…
“I think you need to miss…before she doesn’t make it home tonight…”
“Come on Bette…” they said as they pulled her out of the bar and into the parking lot….
Bette was now in tears….”I don’t understand why she would do this…” she cried…
Just as Bette looked up….she saw Tina walking across the parking lot towards the hotel

entrance…..
“She said She didn’t know what hotel he was at….” said Alice…
“Of course she knows…she fucked him here…” said Bette as she ran towards Tina yelling

her name…Kit looked at Alice…”she doesn’t know about them ***** at the house..dumbass…’….”*****..sorry..” said Alice as they both followed Bette..
“Tina……”
Tina just kept walking…..”Tina?”
She stopped and turned around…..scared to see Bette standing two feet away from her….
“What the ***** are you doing back here Tina?”
“I need to see him for a few minutes Bette….I am sorry…”and she began to walk towards

the door again…
“If you walk in that door to see him….u can forget about the last 7 years of our lives

“I am sorry….Bette….I love you too…but I have to see him before he leaves…”
and Tina walks inside….
Bette falls to her knees and cries……sobbing loudly….with Alice and Kit right behind

her just looking at eachother…very confused about Tina…and what she was doing…..and

very afraid for Bette….they knew that she could not live without her T.
