    Window of Opportunity ch. 76

We were teased about the delay in arriving, mainly by Alice but neither of us cared. We would have been later if we hadn’t run out of steam. Coming here and refueling hopefully would allow us to continue long into the night. Angie was happy to see us. As used to everyone as she was and as much as she loved them, she always made us feel great when we hadn’t seen her in a while. She climbed into Tina’s lap as she was talking to Luke and fell asleep. I offered to take her but Tina just smiled at me and told me that she wanted to hold her baby for a bit. I understood.

We all ate had a good time. When it was time to say goodbye that was of course sad. I knew that we would see everyone again soon but they had all come to mean so much to us that for them to leave, was just not something that was easy to see happen. We all hugged and kissed. Most weren’t leaving until the following day but it would have been too hard to get together with work and all. After we had hugged, kissed and thanked everyone, we gave Angie to Sam and headed back to the hotel. It was still early and we decided to take a drive. We hadn’t done that in a long time. We ended at the beach and left our shoes in the car as we walked along the beach. It was so peaceful and to feel Tina’s hand in mine, words weren’t needed. We just enjoyed being together. Finally, she was getting tired and we sat on a bench and talked. I thanked her again for having allowed me back into her life and for making my life so perfect. She thanked me too. She thanked me for seeing those things that I needed to change and facing my fears to do so. Had I not, we wouldn’t be here and that thought was one that saddened both of us. We headed back to the hotel for what I thought would be another wonderful night of passion. I went to take a shower and when I got out, Tina was fast asleep. I smiled knowing that the last couple of days had finally caught up with her. I climbed in, took her into my arms and held her all night. It was just as great a night.

    1. twin boys how cute, love how the nurses but the babies foot rpints on the scrubs. glad tina is alright. tickled that kit and charles hit it off enough for him to move out to be with her!!:)PPS

    2. Oh yeah, those F!!! words do seem to flow out of one when in Labour especially painful Labour. Sorry for Angie that they are both boys but then she gets to remain Princess no1 and they get the double blessing of knowing what their 1st son would have been like…but raising boys ain’t easy at the best of times let alone double trouble!!! Thx so much for a great post. Bette will be pleased about the mass of hormonal moods decreasing. Hopefully T will be very nurturing and lovey-dovey all round.

    3. Your a tear jerker NAG & I love it, tears for happieness and tears from laughing so hard. Tina the F bomb dropper, Bette the fradie cat to go home, your so good at this. Thank you, Md

    4. Wow, two boys. Angie is not going to be too happy at first but she will love her little brothers for sure. It will be good in the long run because she is the only girl and still the Angel of the group. The family is complete now. Tina’s parents and Luke, Vanessa and Kit from Bette’s side, and of course the gang. Love the names although I was surpised that Sam’s name was not used unless Spencer is somewhat part of his name. Glad that Charles has moved to be with Kit, she deserves some happiness because she sure is not getting it in the show.

    5. I love reading this story – it always has me laughing, smiling, crying (happy tears)…I imagine I’ll sound something like T when I one day am in labor (I also want to do a natural birth, we’ll see)….aw, poor Angie didn’t get her own Lil’ Sis..but as Rau said, she’ll always be her mommies’ princess, and I’m sure she’ll be the best big sis to her little bros!

    6. LOVED this update. I am glad to see all of the relationship progressing so well. Two boys huh, lets see who gets squirted in the eye when changing the diaper first–LOL.

    7. NAG this was a wonderful chapter. Boy oh boy, Tina’s hormones were really playing havoc with her, poor Bette. Happy that everyone is doing well and that we did not have any other insurmountable problems with the birth of the boys. Hopefully the end of this story IS NOT IN SIGHT, there are still so much to know and write about this family and extended family. This tory can continue for quite awhile. Please don’t do as IC and close it before its natural conclusion. I certainlt hope you will consider that. Post when you can.

    8. i loved it… i wish i could get my own story moving like you did with yours… anyway… 2 boys… they will be a woncerful addition to their family… thanks…PPS

    9. Hahahaha…wait until Angie hears the news…there will be one unhappy camper in the group! NAG you are totally awesome. I laughed in so many places in this update..at the beginning when Bette was talking about Tina’s mood swings…When Tina was telling the nurse how she felt…your humour just pops out in your narratives. This story is just too much for words!

    10. Mazel Tov to Bette & Tina and their extended family! Two bundles of joy and they’re both boys! Tsk, tsk. Their mommies, grandparents, aunts, uncles and big sister Angie have their work cut out for them. Btw, none of them were named after Sam? I hope Sam won’t feel bad about it. Glad Tina and the boys are all well and that Bette survived the worst parts of the pregnancy. You seem to have moved to a new gear in this chapter, NAG. Awesome and richly-detailed storytelling as always. *THANK YOU!* :>
