Wings of An Angel – Bette and Tina – Chapter 2
My heart reacts like a volcanic eruption remembering the come hither sway of Bettes hips. I dreaded to see her stroll towards the door, but as she turned around, I instantly fell in love watching the massaging waves of the ocean blue. She is the half that completes me. She is the whole of my being. She is the cause of who I am. One hour to go.
Bette
One hour to go! I have yet to review my architectural files for my prospective clients due to the mere fact that I cant remove Tina from my thoughts; permanently engraved, leaving her mark of ownership. She implanted her seed of life into my future for not only will I watch it grow, but I will nourish the fruit of our labor to exist for many generations to come. The universe will flourish with the historic tale of my loves divine for our story has just begun. I cant believe that for the past fours hours all I have been concentrating on is her. What is she doing to me? More importantly, what am I allowing Tina to do to me.
Stop pretending with yourself Bette, you know exactly what has driven your conscious to this place and time . . . Tina. A timeless antique statue carefully wrapped to capture the meaning of life, my life. A duty bound existence that I . . .we . . . have carefully hidden from the outside world. No one will ever have to know what I really am; a lost little girl entrapped in the dark blindness of light; not seeing, not hearing, not smelling, not feeling. A little girl running from the truth. Forty five minutes to go.
I change my direction of thought and reestablish the linkage with Tina to converge on more satisfying attributes of my non productive morning; day dreaming of her. I push myself away from the paper cluttered mahogany desk and stand to withdrawal the worried stress from my muscles. I leisurely walk to the open view bay windows of my office to survey children dancing and laughing in the playground across the street; not a care in the world. I wonder if Tina wants children? I envision holding our son in my arms who resembles so much of his mother. What the . . . where the ***** did that come from??!! Thirty minutes to go.
