Santa Monica Pier.

They enjoy the rides together on what has become an afternoon double date.  Dana and Lara, along with Alice and Tonya.  They have spun around on the Scrambler and Alice is ready for a brief bathroom break.  Tonya decides to go with her, claiming the need of a break as well.  Dana and Lara look around at the festive atmosphere, holding hands.

Lara ”Those two have certainly hit it off, haven’t they?”

Dana ”I’m sorry, it’s so…weird.  She had mentioned the idea of setting her up on a date, but…”

Lara ”It looks like she is the date.”

Lara grins as Dana shakes her head.

Lara ”Hey, don’t worry so much.  You never know, they may actually like each other.”

Dana ”It’s my best friend and my manager, Lara.  It…it’s just weird, okay?’

Lara ”Maybe so, but let them enjoy their weirdness.  Alice needs to smile after everything with Robin.”

Dana ”She really liked her.  Meeting those friends of hers must’ve really freaked her out.”

Lara ”They probably did.”

Meanwhile, Alice has taken her break and sees Tonya waiting, smiling.

Tonya ”Just wanted to make sure we didn’t get lost.”

Alice ”Ha.  Yeah, I can see where that can happen with all these people.”

Tonya ”Ready to ride the ferris wheel?  Really make it spin?”

Alice ”I think I’m up to the challenge.  It’s really cool, bein’ able to do all this.  You, me, Dana, Lara…y’know, pretty cool, just pickin’ Lara up at The Planet and just goin’.”

Tonya ”Sometimes it’s good to just go.”

They hold hands, walking together as they meet back up with Dana and Lara.  They wait in line and eventually take their seats upon the Pacific Wheel.  For Dana and Lara, it is another chance to take in the view together.  For Alice and Tonya, it is an opportunity to ride separate from Dana and Lara, enjoying the mischief of the spinning together.  They laugh, becoming closer.  They pause.  They kiss.  Spinning the wheel is suddenly lower on the scale of importance as Alice and Tonya’s lips instantly become close.  They do not stop until the ride is through.

Exiting the Pacific Wheel, they kiss once more with Dana and Lara noticing.

Lara ”Well, aren’t they cute?”
