Recap.

It has been approximately 6 months since Angelica was born to Bette and Tina.  The lives of Bette, Tina, and the rest of the Group Of Friends have continued on.

Bette dealt with the fallout of the affair with Candace, with Tina moving out for a time.  Her professional relationship with the C.A.C. also slowly, but surely fell apart with Leo Herrera brought in to handle the day-to-day in Bette’s place while Bette was away dealing with both the death of her father, Melvin and the birth of her daughter, Angelica.  What set in motion Leo’s arrival at the C.A.C. was the lack of the Peabody Grant, which Helena would issue elsewhere.  Bette and Tina appear to have repaired their relationship with the birth of Angelica.  In the 6 months since, Bette is learning on the go, how to be a stay-at-home Mom.

For Tina, that road to repairing the relationship was a rocky one.  Moving in with Alice, then eventually into her own apartment, Tina wanted her autonomy.  At first, Joyce Wischnia was brought in as a legal representative, but after a creepy encounter with her, Bette and Tina were able to work something out.  Tina would still focus on her volunteer work, securing the largest Peabody Grant ever and a visit from Helena, who would wind up moving to Los Angeles.  Tina and Helena’s romance would be plagued with the conflicts both had with Bette, leading to their own conflict together.  Tina would find herself back with Bette just in time to give birth to their child, Angelica.  In the 6 months since, Tina is learning on the go, how to be a Mom while still juggling her volunteer work.  At some point, either she or Bette will need to secure a paying job.

Helena’s life has taken a strange twist of fate since leaving New York City.  Leaving personal indiscretions behind, she found herself enamored with Los Angeles and specifically with Tina.  The problem for Helena was that Tina was Bette’s ex at the time and as it turns out, there was still something there.  With Helena and Tina agreeing to date others, Helena tried to distract herself by dating Leigh and Emma, especially Leigh whom Helena would begin to take a stronger liking to.  In the 6 months since, Helena and Leigh have broken up and to get over the heartbreak, she found herself doing something different.  She found herself befriending someone who was close to Bette and Tina and suffering her own, unique heartbreak.
