    Jess was sitting down by the water, Bette walked out the cabin with two mugs in her hand. She took a deep breath before walking down to where Jess was sitting. She sat next to Jess handing her a mug of tea.

    “How was the memorial?”

    “Horrible, her parents and poor brother are devastated, Chrissy is a mess it was just horrible” Jess sighed resting her head on Bette’s shoulder “I feel so drained after it”

    “Carmen and Mum are worried about you”

    “I’m absolutely fine I promise I’m just processing it all” Jess sighed “It baffles me how easy it is to get a gun in this country, take Kirsty for example, she knew she was going to use it on someone”

    “I know”

    “There should be like a cooling off period” Jess looked at Bette “What have you been doing all day?”

    “Well we took Liam swimming, he’s not a fan of the water apparently” Bette smiled

    “Bless him” Jess smiled “So we’ve been here a week now and it’s took you this long to come speak to me on your own”

    Bette smiled “I figured I’d wait till you’d got your anger down a little”

    “Stop being silly, I’ve forgiven you” Jess said putting her mug down and cuddling into Bette

    “I’m sorry for everything, I didn’t mean to hurt any of you I love you all more than words can describe” Bette said wrapping her arms around Jess

    “I know”

    Bette kissed Jess on the head

     

    “Lisa can you come aw3ay from the window” Tina laughed

    “I’m just making sure they’re not ripping each other’s eyes out” Lisa said sitting on the sofa

    “Mama is big enough to handle Jess” Tina laughed

    Everyone looked at Tina

    “Don’t all look at me like that, Mama is just letting Jess vent. Mama knows Jess’s every move”

    “Yes but she also can’t deal when her little puppet isn’t speaking to her” Mason smirked

    “Yeah she’s totally Mama’s favourite and we know it” Lisa agreed

    “Oh shut up, I’ve never heard as much rubbish” Tina laughed

    “I’m going to bed” Jace yawned getting up “You’re boring me now”

    “Oh thanks” Lisa laughed “What if I’m tired?”

    “Then come to bed” Jace said leaving the cabin lounge

    2. This Porter-Kennard family is like this: sing, laugh, celebrate, cry, have fun, make mess, fight, defends himself … But in the end, they love each other!
      Finally Bette and Jess reconciled.
      And speaking it, Jess to hospital again … lol
      I loved the love scene of our couple, now they are in full harmony.
