A week and half later…
Jess had struggled being silent for a week and half, Lisa was taking full advantage of Jess not being able to speak finding it hilarious. Carmen hated it as did Mason, even Bette and Tina were getting irritated with the quietness around the house.
“The amount of get well mail Jess has is ridiculous, it needs to get moved” Tina said looking around the office
“Tell me about it” Kelly snapped “I near broke my leg falling over a box this morning”
Jess walked into the studio with Carmen
“Speak of the devil” Kelly smiled getting up and hugging Jess
“So what’s the verdict can you speak?” Tina smiled
“Yes, but it hurts a little” Jess smiled
Jess’s voice was still course and quiet
“What did the doctors say?” Kelly asked “When you back at work?”
“When she’s better” Tina interrupted
“I need to go for speech therapy or something, I’m not allowed to sing for a while 2 month minimum” Jess explained
“Oh that’s not good” Kelly ran her hands through her hair
“Sorry” Jess apologised
“It’s not your fault, don’t apologise” Kelly said “I need to put out a statement”
“You need to go through all that Jess” Tina said pointing to the boxes behind Jess
“What is it?”
“Get well Mail” Tina explained
“Wow erm okay” Jess said walking over to them and looking through the boxes
“Yep were falling over it, literally” Kelly stated
“Put it in our rehearsal room and I’ll work on it” Jess sighed
“Okay were off, she’s only to talk a little bit, were going to cinema” Carmen said
Later that night…
“Jess can we speak to you please” Bette said
“Why I haven’t done anything?” Jess said
“We know” Tina said “It’s just while everyone is out”
“Carmen’s here” Jess said walking into the lounge
“Yeah were not worried about Carmen” Bette smiled
Carmen looked up from her laptop
“Do you want me to go to our bedroom?” Carmen asked
“No don’t be silly” Bette smiled
Tina sat next to Bette becoming nervous.
“Okay so obviously your aware Lisa is about to add another to the household and well your Mum thinks the house is getting a little cramped” Bette explained
