    “No seriously Auntie Dana as my English teacher you’ve got to be having a laugh” Mason snapped sitting at the kitchen table with his breakfast “Mason I am not getting into this, Auntie Dana needed a job, I needed an English teacher end of discussion” Bette stated getting her lunch box out the fridge and

    “And it just had to be Auntie Dana?” Mason snapped

    Tina stopped what she was doing turning and facing her son.

    “What is so annoying about it? The fact you will actually need to pay attention and do your work?” Tina snapped hearing enough “It’s Mama’s first day back at work today she doesn’t need you yipping at her all the way Mason ENOUGH!”

    Mason sighed eating his cereal.

    Tina walked out the kitchen followed by Bette.

    “You okay?” Bette asked

    She wasn’t use to Tina losing her cool as fast.

    “Yes I’m fine I’m just sick of his constant moaning about absolutely everything there is no need for it” Tina stated putting on her Jacket. “Have a great first day back, I love you and if you need anything call me, I’ll be at the studio majority of the day”

    “I will, I love you too” Bette smiled kissing Tina softly

    “Hey mum wait up I’ll come with you” Jess said running down the stairs

    “It’s 8am what the hell you even doing awake?” Tina smiled

    “I have so much to do and not enough time, Carmen left at 6am so I’ve been up since then”

    “It’s her first back today too isn’t it, I forgot” Tina said rubbing her head and taking out her phone

    “Me too, how was she?”

    “She was as high as kite, so excited to be back” Jess laughed “We’ll see how she feels about the after a week of nightshifts…Bye Mama love you have a great first day back you’ll be amazing as always, Tell Auntie Dana good luck”

    “I will…bye” Bette smiled closing the front door and walking back into the kitchen

    Mason was putting his bowl in the dishwasher.

    “You ready?”

    “Yep just need my bag” Mason replied walking out the kitchen and upstairs.

     

    “I’m driving!” Carmen snatched the keys from Andrew’s hand

    “Carmen you’re supposed to be taking it easy” Andrew laughed

    2. Glad that Alice and Dana are back in town. They are there best friends and i know for sure Alice will get them to reconnect them again.

      Wow, poweful song Jess wrote.

      And Mason, man he is one terrible teenager, should be very grateful with the loving family he has. He needs to take his attitude a few notches down.

    3. Thanks for posting. Glad Alice and Dana are there to help take the pressure off Tina. Bette can be a pain when she wants, yes she is afraid but so was Tina and she had no one to talk to but Bette and Bette wouldn’t talk
      to her. Bette also needs to let Tina into her feelings, etc, she needs her wife as too. Maybe Alice and Dana could knock some sense into Bette and make her see just how much they are both hurting and need each others loving and understanding. Great chapter.
