Bette was sitting up on her bed on her kindle when Alice walked through the door.
“I’ve a good mind to punch you in the face Porter”
Alice hugged Bette before sitting in the seat next to her bed.
“What the hell were you thinking?”
“That I didn’t want my family to watch what I thought was happening”
“That’s the shitest excuse I’ve ever heard, you do know you mega hurt them right?”
“I’m well aware yes Alice”
“Where is Tina anyway?”
“I sent her home last night she was exhausted, I told her to get some proper sleep” Bette explained
“She’s ready to hit rock bottom Bette you have some major making up to do once your better” Alice stated “On another note have you seen Jess yet?”
“Nope she’s still not speaking to me” Bette sighed
“She has been helping that band you signed out, they’re actually sounding half decent now, I interviewed them yesterday”
“How’s Chrissy’s attitude?”
“Yeah she was pleasant enough to me” Alice stated “I’ll let you read it when I’ve published it”
Alice sat looking at Bette
“You over all this shit now, you’re coming home? When they letting you out?”
“End of the week hopefully and I’m not sure what I’m doing yet”
“Bette?”
“Alice I don’t even know how Tina feels, Jess refuses to speak to me, Mason and Lisa are being overly nice, and don’t get me wrong I deserve it all, I put them through a lot”
“Look I get you had your reasons even though I feel personally they were stupid, but for god sake Bette you have a wife that would walk through fire for you and a family who adore you, what possessed you to jeopardise that”
“I know” Bette sighed
Tina walked into the room. Alice smiled.
“Anyway I better go I only came to see how you were, Dana said she’ll pop in tonight” Alice got up hugging Bette
“Did I interrupt?” Tina asked hugging Alice
“No I have a free hour before my next interview so thought I’d come shout at her” Alice smiled “I’ll call you later”
Alice left the room as Tina sat down.
“How did you sleep?” Bette asked
“Not great if I’m honest” Tina admitted “My mind is still on overdrive”

What a mess, because Bette thought to handle her sickness in her own, her family is falling apart.
But both Jess and Lisa said true things about how they react to all this, but fighting is not the answer.

Wow! Things are getting out of control, sisters who are losing control over themselves, all in consequence result of wrong choices of her mother.
Tina is a woman of great fiber, despite what’s going on with your life, it stays balanced, and did the right thing putting face to face her daughters.
