"Sam can I get you drink?" Tina asked shyly
"Uh sure"
They walked away from Bette and she stood there in shock. She has known Tina for over 10 years and she could tell when she was flirting and she was flirting with Sam!
Chapter 14
Tina spent most of the party talking to Sam. Bette couldn’t take her eyes off of them. Alice tried to talk to Bette but could tell she was very distracted.
"Bette – you have been sitting in this corner all day starring at Tina. What’s going on?" Alice asked concerned
"Look at her Alice- she is totally flirting with Sam. She hasn’t stopped talking to her all day!"
"Come on she’s not flirting- they are just talking and catching up."
"Al come on- I know when Tina is flirting- look at her she has her hand on Sam’s shoulder. I have been waiting a week to have that kinda of intimate connection with her and I’m her partner."
"Bette relax you kissed last night and you slept together."
"I know, but I can’t help but feel jealous. She liked Sam. She was attracted to her. What if she’s feeling those emotions more than any loving feelings towards me?"
"Why don’t you go over there and talk to them- they could just be shooting the shit."
"Ok you are right." Bette didn’t even take her eyes of Tina as she was talking Alice. She made her way across the yard and heard the sound of Tina’s laugh. It made Bette smiled even though it made her sad that she wasn’t the one making Tina laugh.
"Hey you two- having fun?" Bette broke in and tried to keep her voice light.
"Oh hey Bette- yea it’s been really great catching up with Sam. She’s been telling me some of the crazy stories from the set."
"Oh great. Yea I’m sure there were a lot of funny stories."
"Yea and Sam is gonna take me to the studio tomorrow and give me the tour so maybe I will remember something."
Bette felt herself getting so angry- she wanted to tell Sam to leave and never come back, but she couldn’t. She knew that would be helpful for Tina to go to the studio, but the idea of Sam and Tina together alone all day would make her crazy.

I guess Bette will need a plan to win her woman all over again..
This reminds me of the situation with my grandmother after she had gone to a nursing home. She remembered my son-in-law (whom she had known for all of 6 years), but thought my daughter, his wife, was still a child. She thought I (her favorite) was my mother. I didn’t even exist. So, Bette, I feel ya. Maybe Sam will do something to turn Tina off, and turn her back to Bette. My fingers are crossed. Thanks!
What the heck is Sam doing this for? Bette should confront her.
i hope sam won’t take advantage of Tina while she’s trying to remember and somehow will help tina to get back with bette…it reminds me a little of “Regarding Henry” with Harrison Ford…and there was a happy ending ;)
It must be very frustrating for Bette. Tina is kind of cold and distant not even the slightest bit friendly, imo.Does she even care about Bette and Angie.
with friends like sam… who needs enenies.. WTF is she doing… i hope tina wakes up before she does something stupid… or sam does something stupid..pps
This story makes me so sad for Bette. It doesn’t seem like Tina is even attempting to get to know more about their relationship or get closer to Bette.

Tis so sad, when you love some one so much,and they can’t remember that love nor her child. Sam knows that Tina loves Bette and can’t remember.so she thinks now is her playtime. thanks
Poor Bette! I can’t imagine what she must be going through. If this situation with Sam continues I think Bette will need to talk to her. I hope Tina gets her memory back really soon…..
This is really hard from both sides. On the one hand, Bette feels dismissed and is jealous of Tina’s ability to relax with and flirt with Sam. On the other, Tina feels pressured. But I gotta say, if you lose your memory, and a person who clearly loves you is there, wouldn’t you at least try to not be harsh to them? I mean, Tina isn’t being very nice to Bette, for whom the situation is, in a way, much harder, since she’s the one who can still remember everything.
Oh man! What is a happening – comeon Sam – you know better! Go Bette go try win Tina back. Great story and can’t wait to see what happens next. Thank you :)

Ok, Tina is pissing me off; and so is Sam. Both of them know that Tina is in a relationship, yet, they are ‘flirting’ in front of everyone and totally disregarding the effect this is having on Bette. This passive Bette is irritating as well. There is no way she should be sitting idly by watching this unfold in front of her like that. Bette, kick some @ss and take names! Don’t let that slime-ball Sam take your wife!

ok, Now i must have amnesia because first when did Tina get her cell back, because she didn’t have in the car during the accident, and secondly how does she know she can drive, thirdly-how does she know where Angie’s school is and lastly-how does she know her way to the studio-but didn’t even know her name.
I don’t understand this. They kissed. Tina remembered the love of her life on that evening, then today why not?
This actually broke my heart…but then again, I think any of us who have experienced watching an attraction bloom right before our eyes between our partner and another woman would feel the familiar pain that Bette is feeling. Thank you.
Feel so sorry for both of them at the moment: Bette because her heart is being wrenched out and Tina because she does not remember the love of her life nor her child but instead feels something for someone that she ditched because of her love for Bette. Let’s hope something breaks soon for them. Maybe Angie will do or say some little thing that will bring Tina back to them. I am still wondering what she was doing with the man that was killed and what kind of meeting did they have together. Not sure if that question has been answered. Looks as though Bette willl have to fight for Tina which is kinda crazy. Can hardly wait to see what happens next. Please try not to make it as painful for them. Thanks for posting.
Looks like you’ve done it now…all the readers (including myself!) are all in uproar with the drama you’re spinning! LOL! I’m hoping Bette will kick into high gear, take some serious action and cause Tina to snap out of her Sam infatuation!! Loving it, LGLB!
