Tuesday morning Bette’s in a weird mood, she had been thinking most the night, mainly of what Tina had said. She was in no shape for work and she needed to talk with her Mother. Tuesday’s and Thursdays are when her Mother come over, some times Sat. and this can’t wait til Thursday, So she calls James and tell’s him she won’t be in and to clear her schedule. She goes and takes a shower.
 
Tuesday Tina was at work and couldn’t keep her mind on her work after two o’clock because thats the time Bette usually came in. But she never came. Tina now thinking she must have really hurt her feelings this time. she thought for sure she would have came in like she did on Monday unscathed  because she seemed like someone who rebounds very well, like timex’s watches “takes a liking and keeps on ticking”..Feeling very bad now. wishing she could take it back.
 
 Bettes comes in to the kitchen to make coffee and makes herself  a bagel while she waits. Fifteen minutes later she  heres her mother pull up out side…..Thinking How much she loved her Mother, but that it took a stranger to point out how much she took her for granted, And it made her feel awful, and that it had been awhile scents they have had a serious conversation …. She goes and opens the door and greets her Mom with a hug.

Hi Mom

Her Mother being surprised …What are you still doing here, And your not dressed for work. Are you feeling ill dear?

No, I just have been doing some thinking and waited to talk with you, If thats aright?

Sure honey, It seems serious….Bette just smiles and Helping her Mother with the bags she had in her arms, putting them on the counter.

Your dry cleaning is still in the car…..Making Bette feel funny, thinking of what Tina had said” She wash clothes to”

That’s Ok Mom I’ll get It…she heads to the car and her mom put the grocery’s away.
Bette takes her dry cleaning to her closet, and by the time she comes back to the kitchen  her Mother was finished also. Bette ask her to sit in the living room and Bette gets them coffee and comes to join her on the couch…..Bette’s slow to start and her Mother knows her to well and just gives her the time to get her thoughts together.
