This is like years late and 2 dollars short. This chapter was hot. Yes. Smoking like the others. BUT…what I’ve noticed the last two chapters is that Tina has begun to evolve. I don’t know that it’s Bette giving up control, so much as Tina taking control. It’s as though she’s growing to trust herself and to trust Bette. With her family now supportive of her relationship, perhaps that’s given her added confidence in her interactions with Bette.
It’s a good character progression. (in my humble opinion).

Girl…I wonder where i was, too. Probably getting my proverbial ass handed to me at work. LOL. But it’s nice to have a meaty storyline to follow. And I wish that Tina would have had more character development period. I think she was a chameleon from season to season. Sometimes wishy-washy from episode to episode.
I actually like the Tina in S5. (mostly). But then things get weird in S6. And I won’t even talk about the chaos of the earlier seasons. I didn’t really like her in S1. (i know, i know. Tibetters might slay me). But she seemed whiny and ill-matched to Bette. I mean, the whole thing with Marcus Allenwood’s girlfriend and her forgetting to put the phone back on the hook? Bette flew all the way home from NYC just to check on her.
I know it was all plot devices to move the show along (i guess) but it was like…huh?? Your woman is out there slaying dragons and conquering the world and you can’t sit tight at home for a weekend without losing it? TF outta here with that Tina.
