    Bette giggles at Tina’s directness…I want you to come with me somewhere. Tina rises an eyebrow with a question in her eyes. I don’t have time for one of your long lunches. Bette smiles big thinking about that lunch…No, not that, I promise. I want to show you something that means a lot to me

    Bette giggles at Tina’s directness…I want you to come with me somewhere. Tina rises an eyebrow with a question in her eyes. I don’t have time for one of your long lunches.

    Bette smiles big thinking about that lunch…No, not that, I promise. I want to show you something that means a lot to me and is very close to my heart.

    And here I thought that was me…

    You are the closest thing to my heart but I have other things dear to me too and I want you to see.

    Tina is curious. Bette was being so passionate and Tina could see whatever this was it was important to Bette and Tina wanted to see what it was. Ok…Let’s go. Bette backs away and Tina stands and puts her jacket on and grabs her purse.

    Bette drove them down into the central part of town…Tina was a bit taken aback. The area looked a little unsafe, but she didn’t say anything, just held onto Bette’s hand. Bette pulled down a street and parked in front of a building with young kids like high school age hanging out. Tina sees a sign which reads Creative Hands School of Art. She looks over to Bette who is already looking at her. Come on. They get out. Bette takes her by the hand.

    Ms. Bette! The four kids who were standing outside come to greet her.

    They all hug her…Hey guys how you been?

    We’re good.. they all say.

    Whose the babe on legs…Jay Jay asks.

    This is Tina Kennard.

    Jay Jay at your service ma’am…said one young boy with his hat on sideways and a big smile on his face taking Tina’s hand and kissing it.

    Chill Jay Jay she don’t need you slobbering all over her. Besides she’s taken or didn’t you notice the ring…A very sassy older girl says as she pops him in the back of the head.

    Tina smiles at the interaction between them…

    Hey Deloris and thank you for keeping Jay Jay here in check. She gives them a hug. She pulls back from Jay Jay. She’s mine.

    Way to go Bette!

    Thank you and you have a good eye. Giving him a wink which makes his head swell and she acts like she’s straightening his shirt. Tina hears what Bette says and blushes.

      Bette has so many sides and it is fantastic to discover them, funding and supporting that Art school is a very kind thing to do.

      Wonder how Tina will react when she finds out that Bette has to go to Chicago, but she will have her mother to distract her.

      Peggy, i love her, it’s truly a shame that she had such a small part in the show.

      • I have a funny feeling Tina is not going to be happy about the trip..lol As for Peggy yes I know but I try to fit everyone in a little…And thank you..I have a double Graduation party to go to tonight..late night out..And next weekend (three days) My wife and I are going to the beach for our one year Anniversary. so a little mini vacation before we take a real Vacation.But do hope you enjoy your time off. stay out of trouble my bail money is all tied up,,lol

      • Finn422 thank you. I to have to go back a reread some chapters to get my mine back to a thought to make sure I stay on same page to what I had posted previously. The really older stuff like the first 100 chapter I hate because I see so many screw ups and I don’t have the time to go back and fix them. I was writing in secret back then and posted every day. didn’t have time to really edit like it should have been for that I do apologize. Thank you for commenting.

    8. Woman please! There was NOTHING wrong with the first 100 chapters. We uderstood and got the just of those chapters. Why do you think we LOVE this amazing story? Wish you could go back to writing in secret so you COULD post everyday. I LOVE being naughty!:) Better than being a drama queen. I HATE drama as you know! Life is to damn short for it.       • LOl…well first thank you and second I know which chapter you got the “just of” (NC-17’s) which is why those numbers are so much higher than the others..lol JK!..

        I’m to far out and proud and have a job lol..now to go back to writing in secret..those where not good days for me other than reading writing and talking with my friends on here, it got me thought a very back time which is why I love this site. you can be out or you can stay hidden for as long as you like, your among friends right? sorry I’m rambling…

        Yes I hate Drama also.. but sometimes in the story I have to put some in just to keep it human..lol But I do try to be quick about it..And yes life is way to short and the older the more that comes real..lol thank you cellphone48

      • Sorry that my commenting has been absent but my road of life has a few boulders at the moment which take some negotiating!

        One joy though is that I am now a ‘sassy’ Great Gran to a delightful Great Granddaughter who can wrap me right around her little finger:)
