Both Bette and Tina tried to turn their attention to the headmasters and all the new information he talked about, but as confused as they were, they could not stop thinking about each other.

After the meeting was finished everybody went to the school cafeteria to grab something to eat. Bette, Alice and Dana walked together and found themselves a table in the back. Bette was sticking to her plan on avoiding Tina.

Tina followed the crowed of teachers in to the cafeteria. After getting something to eat she stood just looking around the room, holding her tray. Not sure where to sit.

She then saw a woman waving at her from one of the tables

“Ms Kennard, care to join me?” the woman said.

Tina, glad that somebody wanted to spend time with her, walked to the woman`s table.

“Couldn’t let you have your first meal here alone, Darling, so please sit down with me”

“By the way, I am Helena Peabody, the math teacher”

At the other table the conversation was about the new teacher Ms Tina Kennard.

“Oh my, she was one foxy lady” Alice said. “I wouldn`t mind if she learned me a song or two”

“Give it a rest Alice, she is your colleague now, not an instrument for you to play on” Dana replied.

 “But you are right, she looked great. What do you think Bette?”

Bette had been lost in her own thoughts and jumped when she heard her name.

“Jesus Bette, What the hell is up with you?” Alice asked.

“Sorry guys, I am just tired, first day is always hard you know? What were you asking me?

“What do you think about our new music and drama teacher Ms Porter?”

“Alice, don’t you recognize her?” Bette asked in confusion.

“Recognize who?”  

“Oh, never mind then. Well, I hope our new teacher will make a great influence on the school”

“Booooring” Alice said and shocked her head.

Bette fell out of the conversation again, making long glances at the blond.                          Alice could not have seen the face of the girl Bette had been with at the club, or she was too drunk to remember her.

In spite of that Bette had hoped Alice could give her some information about last night, she was glad the identity of the blond from the club still was only for her to know.

In the mean time, Tina and Helena had connected. Tina found Helena sweet and kind. If all my colleagues are like this, I really am going to love it here.

Helena was giving Tina some information about the other teachers.

“And over there you have the gym teacher Dana Fairbanks, everybody loves her, but dont ask her for a trainingsession. She is a tough gym teacher. Beside her is our beloved Alice Pieszecki . She is in charge of our school paper among other things. She can be a little annoying, but at the end of the day, she is a great person”

“Who is the brunet sitting with them?” Tina asked. She couldn’t help it. She felt drawn to that woman.

“That my friend is the amazing Elisabeth Porter. She is our English teacher. She can be stubborn and harsh, but the students love her and she is a good colleague” Helena answered.

Elisabeth Porter, Tina thought. Well at least I  know your name now.
