You Told Me You Love Me Part 9
The gang had just walked out from the room. They each gave Dana a hug before they made their way out. Dana could see tears in their eyes, but she couldn’t figure out why they were so heart broken on her leaving LA. They never failed to visit her everyday, and told her that they were her friends and where they used to hang out at the Planet before heading to their respective workplaces. The Planet sounds familiar, but she couldn’t remember where was it and that it used to be her hang out location. And she couldn’t remember the good old days they described to her. But she was sure on one thing though, that they all were her best friends before she lost her memory and still are.
She recalled that every time the group visited her, a certain blonde journalist named Alice Pieszecki would stand at the corner. The blonde was unusually quiet and she would just stand there looking at her as the others talked about the good old days. Dana looked out to the garden through the window and pursed her lips. She still remembered that the first day she woke up she recognised only three people in the room. The rest were strangers to her. It freaked her out that the strangers came up to her and hugged her. She was scared. She wanted to cry. But when the blonde came up to her, she calmed up almost immediately. She didn’t know who she was, but still the hug comforted her.
She couldn’t describe what she was feeling, but she found that she couldn’t tear her eyes off the blonde’s. But at the same time she was scared of them too. There was something in the blonde’s eyes that told her that they must have had a special bond before all the shit happened. The stare was very intense most of the time. When their eyes locked she would feel butterflies in her stomach. When the blonde smiled she would smile herself. And when the blonde looked devastated she would feel like her own world tumbling down.
There was more than a few times where she found the blonde sleeping on the sofa when she woke up early in the morning. She was surprised at first, but later she was mesmerised at the sight and felt content. She just lay on her hospital bed admiring the beauty in front of her quietly. The blonde looked so beautiful even in her sleep. And she really liked the messy hair. When she saw the blonde stirred she would closed her eyes pretending to be still asleep. After a while she would walk over to the bed to caress her cheeks and kissed her lips before making her way out. It took all of Dana’s strength not to kiss back. She was confused with these feelings. She did try though, but every time she tried to think back what happened between them she would develop a massive headache and then the doctor would come in to attend to her and gave her medicine to sleep. She hated that. She hated that she needed to rely on medicines for her headache and that she couldn’t remember anything except her family.

excellent…that’s my favorite song..it’s a good thing Lenore is there for Alice…shed few tears there..thank you uhhuh…worth the wait..
Wonderful update, uhhuh! Dana’s thoughts seem so realistic. Love that she feels that connection to Alice even with her memory gone. Poor Alice – this is so much harder on her. Hopefully the two of them will be able to find their way back together. Thanks so much!
