    She leaned against Bette and wrapped her arm around her neck. “Let’s get out of here.”

                   Alice was strumming her guitar before her and the band stepped on. Shane put her guitar strap over her shoulder and licked her lips.

    “Are you ready?”

    “Of course I am, I was born ready.” Alice winked at Shane, and Shane smiled.

    “Al–,” they looked up and saw Dana. Alice smiled as Dana walked over to her. Shane walked away and talked to Mark and Gomey.

    “Hey,” Dana smiled and shoved her hands in her back pockets.

    “I just wanted to tell you good luck tonight.”

    “Thank you,” Dana leaned forward and pressed her lips against Alice’s. She pulled away slowly and smiled. Alice opened her eyes and bit her bottom lip.

    “I’ll see you out there. Break a leg. Well y’know don’t really break your leg, but break a leg. I—,” Alice put her index finger against Dana’s lips.

    “It’s okay, I know what you mean.” Dana smiled.

    “I’ll be in the front row, screaming your name.”

    “You better,” Dana walked away, and Alice stared at her backside.

    “Hey Al—will you stop staring at Dana’s ass please so we can start?” Dana smiled when she heard that Alice was staring at her ass as she walked down the steps.

    “Shut up Shane! I’m coming!” Alice took her position at the microphone and took a deep breath.

    “Come with me Carmen—we’ll get a part up front.” Dana waved, and Carmen got up from the chair.

    “Wait for us!” Helena grabbed Bette’s hand and got up from the table. The lights went down, and the crowd went crazy in the small underground club.  Gomey hit the first chord, and then Shane tagged along. Alice bobbed her head to the music as she held on to the microphone. Dana and Carmen made it to the front of the stage as Bette and Helena stood behind them.

    The basement scene is dark and dusty

    The musty smell of stale air

    Cobwebs stand all overhead

    The people stumble down the stairs

     

    Let’s get this party started, yo

    The band are in the corner of the floor

    The songs are pretty kick-ass

    We’re dancing like we’ve never danced before

     

                        Dana and Carmen screamed as their girlfriends rocked out on the stage. As Alice sang she looked down at Dana. Dana was in awe, and Alice smiled at her.

    4. It was 4am EST when I read it. But I was too tired to comment then. I have a habit of reading all the prefered posts before bed. That’s why I call the posts night caps now. Great story for the summer being light, funny and hot hot hot!!! The girls are “young and restless.” (I can’t help myself) Waiting to see Tina’s reaction. I bet it will be good (I mean bad). pps.

    5. ACB, That was hot. Helena and Bette were on fire. Glad to read the they managed to douse each other out. At the last scene I was half expecting Tina to be lurking in the bushes outside Bette’s home. The band were great and give BnH the best excuse to go and light their respective fuses. More please.     6. Whoa Aki, Bette and Helena were so freakin hot, I loved it. they can’t believe that they hooked up so fast and love it, and are now exclusive. Can’t wait to see what they will do since they are going to skip school? As for the rest of the gang, love the fact that they are in a band so cool!!! Great job Aki!!
