The Fosters returns to ABC Family June 16, and to celebrate, we’re having a The Fosters Fanfiction contest!

New: We’re having a contest for Readers/Reviewers, too!

Many of our readers are not yet familiar with The Fosters. It’s a fabulous drama on ABC Family about a lesbian couple who is raising a child from one partner’s former marriage to a man, two adopted children, and two foster children, who they decide to adopt. The story focuses on the parents, Stef and Lena, and their children, particularly Callie. Callie and her younger brother Jude have been through the foster system and have had a tough road. They’re good kids, and they’re a good match for Stef and Lena, who have gotten married. Towards the end of Season 1, Lena decides she also wants to have a baby – one she carries. This creates some struggles for her and Lena, as they did not have the donor sign a release before she became pregnant. Season 2 looks to be terrific. The show is produced by JLo – Jennifer Lopez.
