This week has been an exciting week for Fosters fans. As we got our first full 30 second promo for the summer premier. The excitement was there for all the fans. As Tumblr and Twitter went crazy as soon as it aired, (Sometimes I seriously hate being in the UK.).

The main things in the promo is Jude saying he has his ‘forever family,’ Brandon not being able to play after being beaten up at the end of last episode. Plus we saw one clip of Stef and Lena on the bed, Stef running her hand along Lena’s pregnant stomach and telling her she’s beautiful. Suddenly the fans are very excited for the show coming back on Monday June 16^th. We’re in for another tear jerking season. However we don’t have any spoilers or plot lines that have come out yet but seeing that promo makes my heart sing.

In the promo the thing that got me as an Adams Foster fan excited was seeing how loving Stef was being. I love how physical she is with the way she expresses her love. It’s little touches and kisses. At the end of episode 01×03 the whole family sits down to watch a movie. Once everyone is in their seats, Lena and Stef sat in chairs next to each other Stef simply moves her hand onto Lena’s arm, it’s a simple touch, however shows how much she loves Lena’s.

The fan will agree that the kissing has got better as the season has gone on. After they got married they are kissing and touching more in general however we’ve had something that we never ever expected we got that make out scene in 01×18. We’ve also had the unscripted kisses. Teri and Sherri admitted they filmed a scene where only one kiss was scripted however they went in for another because it fault natural. we, as the fans believe this is the kiss in the garden in 01×19. After they have sent Timothy to…erm…do something in their bathroom I don’t want to think about…they go into the garden and hug and Stef leans her forehead against Lena’s and says ‘I love you’. and they kiss. Three kisses in all. it looks and feels natural. Lena’s hand on the back of Stef’s neck before moving to her chest makes my heart sing. The day Stef returned to work in 01×13 after being shot we saw a kiss that we never really expected as well, as Stef is leaving she gives Lena a kiss it’s not a snog and it’s not a quick peak. It’s something in-between and it’s lovely.

Something that I love is the natural way they don’t generally call each other by their names. Stef is a baby, babe kinda lady. But they term that always makes me laugh is Lena when she says ‘Honey’ because usually it’s to stop Stef saying or doing something she shouldn’t. when Stef asked Timothy why he wanted to be their donor, (Well she asked was it a primal need to spread his seed.) Lena looked at her and said “Honey.” In a way that would make anyone stop what they are doing however Stef simply explains why she is asking. Also love it when they are on the bed in 01×19 and Stef is looking at the ‘reading material’  that Lena had bought for Timothy. Stef’s “Well Hello” and she gets told off again with a ‘honey’. Generally we only get them calling each other by their first names when they are having a row. Lena’s “You lie Stef” during 01×02 is still scary. I think because Lena was waving a knife around didn’t help. Plus Stef admitting she didn’t want Lena to have a baby (when she was already pregnant) she called her Lena. until Lena walked off and she calls her ‘honey.’ However once they find out that Lena is pregnant Stef tells her ‘I feel nothing but love right now baby’ oh that scene makes me want to cry.

The scene that still makes me cry and I find so touching is the scenes of Jude being adopted. After the judge makes it official, Jude is wrapped in his Mom and Mama’s arms and Stef and Lena are kissing each other. It’s romantic and loving. Before the rest of the kids join in. it’s an amazing moment that leaves us on a high at the end of the season.

As we wait for the season 2A I find myself rewatching The Fosters and once again falling in love with Stef and Lena and enjoying their relationship more. As you rewatch them episodes I find myself noticing more and more about their relationship. Whether It’s Stef’s necklace, which she never takes off, or the bracelets they now have. I like most of the fans am very excited about the next season, it’s eight weeks away but that somehow seems too long.
