As many of you know, we at L-word.com also run SouthofNowhereOnline.com. “SON” came on the air in November 2005 – while The L Word was also airing. It feature a high school aged lesbian couple, Spencer and Ashley (“Spashley”), and their coming out issues.
The show had a good run of three seasons. It also featured other storylines such as race issues, interracial couples, teen sex, abortion, gang violence, and more. The show resonated with teens and adults who appreciate a well written, contemporary story. It had a loyal fanbase that is still very active on SouthofNowhereOnline.com, Twitter, Facebook, and more.
SouthofNowhereOnline.com has posted videos on YouTube that have garnered over 300,000 views.
Today, we posted an announcement from Nancylee Myatt, writer for South of Nowhere, that there may very well be a South of Nowhere MOVIE – which would essentially be a pilot for the show to return to the air.
Please read the letter from Nancylee, and help us all bring SON back to our screens!
