Some of you might remember Holly from her band The Jealous Girlfriends, whose song “Lay Around” was featured in the second season of “The L Word”. Incidentally, Holly Miranda is completely out, though she doesn’t like to put a label on her music. She said in the recent interview to AfterEllen.com, “I have no problem being out, but I don’t think it has anything to do with my music. I like who I like. I don’t want people to not listen to my music because of that and I don’t want people to listen to my music because of that. I haven’t had to deal with it in a professional way very much yet”.

Holly, a good friend of Kate Moennig, was there along with Kate to support Mia’s benefit before flying to New York the next day to another gig.

After Holly Miranda finished singing, there was a little auction going on and then Uh Huh Her came on stage. Leisha and Cam were great as usual, treating us to a few new songs from their upcoming album, as well as a few old songs that made the audience singing with them. By the way, Uh Huh Her’s new album, “Nocturnes” is coming out on October 11, so make sure and check it out.
